I recently had the pleasure of dining at this place, Its Palestinian restaurant that truly took me on a gastronomic journey through the flavors of Palestine. This hidden gem offered an array of traditional Palestinian dishes that left my taste buds dancing with delight.

From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was captivated by its inviting and cozy atmosphere. The interior was adorned with stunning Palestinian art, which not only added a touch of authenticity but also served as a visual representation of the rich culture and history of Palestine.

The menu at this restaurant was a true reflection of Palestinian cuisine, offering a wide variety of dishes that were bursting with flavor. However, it was the falafel that truly stole the show. Each bite of the falafel was perfectly crispy on the outside while maintaining a moist and flavorful interior. It was evident that the falafel was made with care and attention to detail, resulting in a falafel experience that was nothing short of exceptional.

Another standout dish was the maklupa. This traditional Palestinian dish consisted of layers of rice, meat, and vegetables, carefully cooked together to create a harmonious blend of textures and flavors. The maklupa at this restaurant was a true testament to the chef's skill, as each bite revealed a symphony of aromatic spices and perfectly cooked ingredients. The freshness of the ingredients was evident, and it was clear that everything was made from scratch.

Aside from the extraordinary food, the restaurant provided an ambiance that was perfect for spending quality time with loved ones. The friendly staff created a warm and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring that diners felt at home as they enjoyed their meal. Whether dining with family or friends, this restaurant was an ideal place to create lasting memories and share the joy of delicious food.

Overall, my experience at this Palestinian restaurant was unforgettable. The combination of tantalizing flavors, traditional dishes, and a beautiful atmosphere created a dining experience that went beyond mere sustenance. This restaurant encapsulated the essence of Palestinian cuisine and culture, making it a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic and memorable dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to savor the true flavors of Palestine and indulge in a truly remarkable dining experience with...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Olive Bistro, a hidden gem offering authentic Palestinian cuisine. From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the warm and inviting ambiance that reflected the rich heritage and culture of Palestine. The menu at this restaurant was a delightful journey through Palestinian flavors. Every dish exuded freshness, passion, and expertise. The attentive staff was knowledgeable and eager to guide me in selecting the best dishes, making for a truly personalized experience. I started with the classic hummus, which was perfectly creamy and topped with a drizzle of olive oil and sprinkling of sumac – a true taste of Palestine. The falafel, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, was the best I've ever tasted, bursting with aromatic spices. The spongy and flavorful pita bread served alongside was the perfect accompaniment. For the main course, I indulged in the traditional Mansaf, a slow-cooked lamb dish served on a bed of aromatic rice and drizzled with tangy yogurt sauce. The tenderness of the lamb and the harmonious blend of spices left me in awe and craving for more. It was a true representation of the rich culinary heritage of Palestine. To complete my fantastic culinary journey, I opted for the baklava for dessert. Each bite was a heavenly combination of flaky filo pastry, sweet honey, and crunchy pistachios. It was the perfect ending to an extraordinary meal. What sets this Palestinian restaurant apart is not only the exceptional quality of the food but also the genuine warmth and hospitality showcased by the staff. The attention to detail and dedication in preserving the authenticity of Palestinian cuisine truly made this dining experience unforgettable. Furthermore, the restaurant's cozy atmosphere adds to the overall charm, making it an ideal place for intimate gatherings with loved ones or a peaceful solo dining experience. If you are a fan of Middle Eastern cuisine or simply love exploring new flavors, I wholeheartedly recommend The Olive Bistro it is a haven for food enthusiasts seeking an unforgettable taste of Palestine. Prepare to be transported to a culinary paradise where every bite celebrates the rich traditions and flavors of this...

I went there because I wanted to support a Palestinian restaurant. The service was slow but not a disaster. The food had no flavor. Literally nothing was seasoned properly. A good piece of meat only needs salt and pepper but when they failed to do the very basic, I was extremely disappointed. The rice with roasted pine nuts however was seasoned well. Maybe it was cooked in a broth.

No proper restaurant serves water in a plastic bottle. Even 3 star Michelin restaurants have the option of tap water. BUT these guys want to make more money by selling you bottled water from Costco for $2. But your dinner plates are $30-42 per person and you're serving water in plastic bottles?

We ended up paying a little over a $100 for 2 apps, 2 entree and no fancy drinks or dessert. In other words, with their signature lemonade and dessert it would have been over $125. It was definitely not worth it. I've paid $400 per person at Michelin restaurants so price isn't the issue. There's just no taste and very little value in what you're receiving.

Just look at their ambiance. You're sitting inside an ugly plexiglass enclosure. There's no heat. Cars are driving by constantly. You're literally 15 feet away from the road and quick check parking lot. And it's hands down the ugliest restaurant I've ever been to including all the cheap takeout places in Jersey. Go look at the plexiglass for yourself if you don't believe me.

So if you want to pay $100 for a dinner for two to sit in a plexiglass enclosure with no heat and have unseasoned food and water from a plastic bottle, then go for it.

Unless they make serious changes, I don't see them lasting past 6 months, specially when you're next to Paterson where there's plenty of delicious middle eastern food.

P.S. Chicken was dry and overcooked besides not having any flavor. They really don't know how season thick...
