I’ve been a pizza semi-snob in this general area for a while and thought I would finally give Mainline a try. This is a deli-sized 2-man operation that’s been in business for 40 years so I had to see what was what. My go-to’s are Pizza Terminal (Verona), Dough (Wayne) and Gino’s (Belleville). Montclair pizza is a chapter for another day. First off, there’s not a gazillion employees behind the counter like Forte’s or Rusillo’s or Pizza One. This is not a restaurant, it’s a pickup spot. It took me 5 busy phone calls to get through bc on Mon/Tue they have a $12 plain pie special, so it’s a beehive. There’s plenty of parking. The guys were nice to deal with, no attitude and no-frills. It’s not knock your socks off amazeballs pizza but it’s better than your typical chain-franchise delivery. It’s solid and standard. I would rate pie Quality about 3.5 stars, but I give them 4 bc they can keep costs down after 40 years and still hold fort, so they know their biz. Hats off to that. When I got home, I sautéed some mushrooms and roasted jalapeños for my toppings, reheated my slices in a Breville and drizzled some Truffle hot sauce - now we’re talking. Does it reheat well? Kinda - I wasn’t disappointed. For $12 you can’t beat it. Can’t speak to their toppings or sandwiches as of yet but go & see what you think.

BEST pizza 🍕 in Little Falls and on my best pizza list anywhere . This spot has been a classic for me for sometime. Having come here from the university days around 7/8 years ago when I lived in the area. Dominic is an absolute pleasure and his food is fantastic. The plain slices sell out so fast! People love the classic taste reminds me of NY. The buffalo chicken is out of this world, my favorite buffalo chicken slice anywhere 💯 Aside from that, the sandwiches are always well prepared and presented, the chicken parm is my go to when I want a sandwich. Plenty of slices for display, i strongly recommend ALL of them :) as i have tried all of them and will always be a fan. Great choices, great prices, and great service. Longtime customer 🙏🏻

It's a funny story now, but not when I tried this pizzeria because I was in a car accident in front of it. I was going to make a left onto Van Ness Ave, and a guy rear-ended me. My husband and two friends who came to help me suggested we eat pizza to calm down before I started driving again. The pizza was delicious! We ordered a pepperoni pie, which was good. I assume the pizza was good because people kept coming in and out to pick up, and it was a Tuesday.

Pizza was okay. A little bit salty and seems to be different on the specials day. Also if they would just change their prices online it would be great because it's very misleading online when it says $9.99 as the special but then it's $12 all of a sudden when you get there. If they change this I would move the stars to a four. But he seemed to not care. He just shrugged it off and said they've changed a while ago. Same thing with the menus. It just says the menu prices are wrong. If you have a business you should have a responsibility to change things it's not that expensive especially a place like this that's been around forever. It's pizza and it's thin and it's not that expensive to make. Cheese steak was a little...
