It's a nice walk down to the water, where you'll typically run into very few other people, even on warm days, but the marshy trail is usually peppered with trash, and the Passaic River smells like, well... the Passaic River. There's quite a pleasant grassy space up at the top of the walk with some playground equipment and a gazebo.

I love nature. The Park is beautiful, but sadly no one seems to take care of it. I think it really needs some maintenance. Still, I enjoyed being there. There’s also a box with books—if you’re into reading, you can take whatever you like, and if you have books you no longer need, you can leave them there for others.

I’m only giving this park 5 stars because of its potential. A great spot to view the Little Falls and the spot where the Morris Canal crossed the Passaic River in an aqueduct. However the park has literally been destroyed in the floods during the winter of 2024. It’s going to take a lot of work to get it restored.
