For Christmas, my boyfriend gifted me a $200 gift card to this nail salon after reading great reviews and visiting in person. It looked lovely inside, so I was excited to try it. I scheduled an 11:15am appointment for a gel manicure with cat-eye polish. Running late, I called, and they kindly moved my appointment to 11:30am. I arrived at 11:26am, checked in, and waited. Unfortunately, my experience went downhill from there. I was wasn’t seated until 11:55am because they were running a bit late. The woman that greeted me upon arrival started prepping my nails but handed off the job to a man (the tech?). He was thorough at first, filing off the top coat and wrapping my nails with acetone, but the acetone wasn't left on long enough. He ended up drilling off most of the gel, then began pushing my cuticles without any prep (no soak or cuticle remover), which was quite painful. He then used a dull, unclean cuticle clipper before switching to sterilized tools. My cuticles were left jagged and uneven, with old gel polish still visible. My hands were dusty, and no attempt was made to properly clean or prep my nails before starting with the new polish. At this point, I stopped the service and asked to leave. I paid $15 using the gift card and left feeling disappointed. No effort was made to remedy the situation, such as offering a different tech or involving the manager, who later turned out to be the woman who greeted me. When my boyfriend went back to request a refund for the unused gift card, she declined but offered to fix the manicure, which I declined due to how much time I had already spent there. I’ll have to use the remaining balance on my gift card eventually, but I’ll be requesting a different tech. For now, 1 star. I’ll update this review if the next visit is better.

this place has a nice vibe and super clean. I had the matcha pedicure which was nice, would come back for that. The massage part was very light touch, I guess you need to add the $10 massage add on. the polish was applied rapid fire though at the end and I could do better. also my heels are still rough, so need a more thorough buffing session to account for premium pricing. the manicure 10/10 would not recommend. Im sure they are great at gels etc but all I needed was gel removal and normal mani with normal polish. Iall of this was done rapidly while I was still in the pedicure chair, which is ok to do it there but do the proper manicure fully as listed on menu. there was no warm soak done, and the nail care part was nonexistent (no cuticle oil or lotion at the end, no cuticle trim, terrible filing i left with rough edges on half my nails) But the biggest issue was I noted at the end when i saw it clearly after the nail polish was applied that the nail beds are super bumpy and I was told its bc I went from gel to regular. thats a terrible excuse bc ive done that before many times and never left with a bumpy base, she just didnt do a good gel removal which i paid for to have it fully removed. and the nail polish application was the worst ive seen done super fast and many of the edges are not painted, these are easily gonna chip within the next 12 hours i can see it already (one already did while I was there). The price absolutey did not justify the manicure service i received. The nail tech she did offer to redo it but at that point it was closing time and i had been there too long already and had to just call it a day. The bumpy base is really disappointing bc i can’t even fix that myself and went to the pros for this very reason.

Hi ,

The place looked very aesthetically pleasing and super clean ! . the receptionist was super super nice loved her energy. The nail tech I was assigned was Jonathan -1000/10. Please bear in mind that this is my first review about any place i’ve ever done. I have gotten gelx before I am not new to the routine. Not only did he not do my nails in the way it was supposed to be done the technique was horrible and he had an attitude! He did it super rushed i had to tell him to remove a nail that he saw was crooked , i had to tell him to fix my polish that he saw he did not paint well because there was a bump on it. and he chose the wrong size shape for my nail ( i didn’t notice until i saw my nails in the sun )! i paid the $65 because i am going on a trip and did not tip ( and i always tip ). He drilled my nail beds extremely harshly he didn’t even clean my nails pretty well i had to ask him if i needed to wash my hands bc i know ur supposed to wash ur hands during this service before u put on the polish and he didn’t dust his area or himself on which then let the dust particles enter underneath the extension. He also used so much gel for the gel x that u can see it under the extension and he didn’t even try to shave it down. I was with my cousin who gotten her nails done with Jessie ( who btw i regret not choosing her ) she did an amazing job so shout out to her ! please do not go to jonathan if you want to get attitude and have to tell a nail tech to do their job and be completely rushed and not care about how your nails turn out. Also to add : my appointment was at 2:00 PM no way by 2:30 i should of been almost finished if i didn’t tell him to fix what needed to be fixed i would of been done around 2:30 that’s how rushed...
