We came to Burge's just before the Razorbacks v. Red Wolves game. We were the only Red Wolves fans in the restaurant, but the staff treated us all the same, because truly, you can't get better service than at Burge's. It was pretty obvious that this was the first time my boyfriend and I went to Burge's, and so the staff that was there went above and beyond to make sure we had the Burge's experience. While we were still wondering what to order, they had us sample their famous Smoked Turkey Salad, aka Turkey Crack- and they're right, that salad is Turkey Crack because we wanted more. Luckily, they sell containers of it in their fridge! I ordered the 3 piece Catfish Plate while my boyfriend got the Smoked Turkey Melt. We waited maybe 10-15 minutes for our food, but the staff kept us company, chatting with us about the food and the restaurant, and the vibe and decoration of the restaurant is entertainment in itself. Our food came, and genuinely, I wish I got the Smoked Turkey Melt. It was SO good. One of the workers came up to give us some free coleslaw to add to the Melt to make it "Mama's Style," and I have to say, if you order ANY sandwich there, make it Mama's Style. Your welcome. The catfish was good, but the real star of my plate was their Green Tomato Relish. I should have asked if they sold jars of it because it was so good. It was incredibly sweet, but naturally so, not the kind of sweet that will knock you out because of all the added sugar. If you're going to Little Rock, stop at Burge's, not just for the Mama's Style sandwiches and their amazing Green Tomato Relish, but for the service. They'll make you feel like one...

It's been a little bit more than a couple of years I vowed I would never come back to this restaurant ever again after my final bad experience which was one of many I wasted my lunch hour for something I never got. And on top of that I got to listen to an argument between two idiots arguing his fault was. And not to mention I had to beg for my money back. And I got to watch what the idiots who was arguing came out every penny slowly. And then probably resume the. Before that I had to get attitude for telling someone every time I order was wrong the man was like a 40 year old man with the mentality of a Junior high kid . Having him shrug your shoulders at me like why am I talking to. Many people I worked with and they had the exact same experience. The owner generally just made. And after I can play they continue to work there. My last review was...

I don't live in Little Rock but I visit often. I wanted to eat somewhere new so I decided to give Burge's a try. I decided try the "Burgeletta", which is their take on the muffaletta, for lunch and the filet fish dinner to take home for dinner. I was disappointed with my choices. The Burgeletta was not what I was expecting. It tasted nothing like a muffaletta but I guess it wasn't supposed to. I'm not sure. I feel really cheated with the filet dinner. I ordered a four piece dinner and it looked like it was two filets cut in half and called a four piece. So so very disappointed. But I have to say the cherry limeade was very refreshing. Not very sweet but not tart. It was just right. I also have to say the wait staff was very friendly and sweet and the seating area...

Grabbed a quick snack here during the week. It was after lunch so it wasn't too crowded, too about 5 min for the sandwhich. It is a relatively small sandwhich though and doesn't come with anything else. For $7-8, good amount of turkey, buttery bread, lettuce. I also tried a small apple pie, it was ok but not a reason I'd go. All around, good sandwhich and I'll definitely go back to try something else when I'm around the area.

Great place to go to for state fair style foot long corn dogs. Mind you they serve an assortment of smoked foods & salads, but that's what initially caught my eye. The staff was friendly, but I felt uncomfortable with the states from the patrons...kind of made me feel like blacks didn't visit their establishment too often. That being said, I would come back to try other foods...especially the fried pies.
