Took our children to have a nice time at that facility (Chuck E Cheese on Shackleford Rd. Little Rock) and was treated horribly. Took over an hour to get the pizza, which I had to serve to our table myself because it sat in the window for over ten minutes (they weren't very busy)... they cleared our table while our kids were playing the games... we had food, specialty cups and pictures on the table still, and they threw it all away. They seen that we were still using the table. We even had a desert order open for that table and never got the desert pizza and churros until we seen that our table was cleared and had to ask them about the order. They finally brought the order out in to-go boxes, but the cookie pizza was burnt and the churros were hard as rocks. We spent well over 200.00 in that facility today and all we got were cold shoulders, major attitudes, cold/burnt food and our pictures tossed. There is a very prejudice feeling in that place. The kids' specialty cups kind of summed it up today when only the dark skinned kids recieved the crazy straws with their cups, while all the light skinned kids had no straws. How petty is that? My kids were without the straws after paying extra for the cups. There were other customers who noticed that too. I did ask for the straws and 20 minutes later, recieved them. I never give bad reviews on any businesses... but today, I can honestly say, that facility needs new workers that are not hateful or prejudice. Very disgraceful, and VERY obvious we weren't wanted from the moment we got there. There were two people that were nice enough to get our burnt desert and crazy straws though. I wonder if the owner knows how people are being...
Read moreWe paid way too much money for the pitiful service we got with my grandson's birthday party. The hostess spent more time sitting down watching videos on her phone than she did helping us with the party. The pizza wasn't cut all the way through; so I had to get a plastic butter knife to try and cut it so that I could serve it to the kids. It was also cut very irregularly. We ordered the over priced wings (apparently they charge more for the bones 🤷🏾♀️), and they had a little steam coming from them but they were cold when we picked them up. Also, the girl who was working the front counter had an attitude like she hated her life. If you're going to work the front counter, you should have good people skills.
Some of the rides/games weren't working, but they didn't have out of order signs on them. The part of the party where Chuck E. Cheese comes out and interacts with the kids was very chaotic and unorganized. There was only 1 other party besides ours going on at the time, so them being busy wasn't an excuse.
Our party was scheduled to be over at 2:30. At around 2:00, this chick comes over and, without introducing herself, says, "I haven't had a chance to come check on y'all, but I need you to go over there and cash out." Mind you, we hadn't seen her walking around the whole time we were there; so I'm pretty sure she wasn't there when we first got there.
The whole experience was very disappointing. This was definitely a one time only thing. They don't have to worry about us wasting any...
Read moreThe outside had a lot of trash in the parking lot and around the building. An employee came out later and swept up some of the trash in the parking lot, but the trash close to the building remained untouched. Don't judge a book by its cover. Once inside its well maintained and we were met by very friendly and helpful staff members. The kid check system is definitely an A+ concept for child safety. The gaming area was well maintained and methodically laid out to make it enjoyable for all ages. Our party coordinator was very informed and promptly helped us with our group. The pizza was spot on with flavor and freshness. The kids at our birthday party had a lot of fun. The manager personally helped make our party feel welcomed. The restrooms were very clean when we first arrived, but as time went on the restrooms could have used some periodic checks and cleaning. The kids enjoyed the ticket games and the thrill of redeeming their tickets for prizes. The prices are what you would except to pay at a higher end family entertainment establishment but worth the expense. One of the children in our party had never been to a Chuck E. Cheese location. The first time child commented as saying "everyone is so nice here." The Chuck E. Cheese brand has definitely improved compare to their previous reputation. Thank You to all those staff members who helped make our party feel welcomed. I would definitely...
