Upon entering Main Event this afternoon for my son's 15th birthday, we were hopeful for our first visit. With our family of four, we purchased four All You Can Play passes for a total of $100 from the machine. Unfortunately, three of the passes that printed out didn’t work. Thankfully, we were greeted by a really nice man who assisted us in getting the other three passes corrected. Next, we headed to the bowling alley. We stood at the unattended bowling desk for about 10 minutes, despite seeing at least 15-20 employees standing around talking and chatting but not working. Finally, someone showed up and set us up on a lane with shoes. The shoes arrived promptly, and a few minutes later we were asked by a server if we wanted to order anything to drink. We ordered four soft drinks, which were brought out about five minutes later. However, the waiter immediately asked us to tab out as he was leaving. He said if we wanted refills, another waiter would have to assist us. It felt like he took the tip and ran without completing the full service. Laser tag was one of the highlights of our visit. The worker there was exceptionally polite and helpful. He greeted us, explained the rules, and made sure everyone was comfortable with the equipment before starting the game. His positive attitude stood out in contrast to the lackluster service we experienced elsewhere in the venue. The laser tag game itself was exciting and fun, thanks to him. We then decided to play pool but didn’t know where or how to start. The machines indicated they were on free play, but there were no balls. We stood around for a few minutes trying to figure out what to do while another 15 or so employees in the dining area were joking and talking and looking at at us, but not offering any assistance or helping any other customers. I went to the bar to ask for help, and the bartender told me I had to give him my ID to get the balls and then we could play. After finally getting the balls, we played a game. Returning the balls was another hassle. I had to walk past three employees blocking the aisle to get to the bar. I stood at the bar, witnessing the bartender and another 2 employees having a little chat all making eye contact with me but continued their conversation, ignoring me. My husband then walked up, and two of those same employees made eye contact with him but still continued their conversation. He finally had to yell out "HELLO?!" across the restaurant to get any assistance from the 6 employees just staring at us in order to return the balls and get my ID. If you want a giant arcade full of at least 50 employees where only two are actually helpful and polite, then this is the place for you. The lack of direction, assistance, and basic courtesy was disappointing and frustrating. The few enjoyable moments, particularly the excellent service from the laser tag worker and greeter, were overshadowed by the overall lack of service and attentiveness. Oh and as a bonus, we saw an employee motivation board trying to customers to post reviews...well...here you go. 1 Star.

The food was pretty good, and the drinks were really good. We ordered a pizza, Cesar chicken sandwich, and loaded queso for an appetizer. We got a vodka cranberry, frozen drink, and 2 peach sangrias. The drinks were all good with the exception of the frozen one, which was too sweet and tasted like it had 0 alcohol in it. The food was good. We'd order the pizza thing again for sure, which was a try on our end because it had thin crust, a sweet-spicy honey sauce, and banana peppers- not a usual pizza. The queso came too late to really eat, and the chips were all stale (literally, we tried several of them!). We'll try it later with fresher chips. The games were really fun and varied though, with plenty to keep everyone having fun. The small claw machines with plastic ducks and turtles was calibrated to actually close, so you win every time! Our 5 year-old daughter was able to win almost everytime she played, which made her very happy. We won several of the claw machines that have rings labeled with ticket amounts, so that was cool. Really, the only downside was the service in the restaurant portion: We ordered, but our waitress forgot to put in our appetizer until after our entrées had already come out, so it came out last. She never brought out silverware, and forgot half of our daughter's order. She disappeared at one point and we finally saw her in the back of the restaurant Facetiming on her phone. We had to ask a different server for assistance a couple times while she was MIA. It was our first time going here too, so it didn't make a great impression. It wasn't even busy at all either, which I would have understood had it been the case. We visited during the week, on a Wednesday, at 5:30pm- and we were the only ones in the entire restaurant! We ended up getting a to-go box for our appetizer since we were already full when it came out. Overall, we'll probably come back for the games, but I don't know if we will try the restaurant side again.

I brought my daughter here for her 13th birthday party. It was a really great time, for the most part. There were a couple of hiccups, but nothing to get too upset about. The people that had the table before us took their sweet ole time to leave, so we were stuck at the bowling lanes just sitting there. The staff should have made them move, but they are kids that are hosting the events, so they don't know how to handle conflict resolution quite yet. Other than that, the pizza was decent for a birthday party place, the different experiences were a lot of fun, the games were unique, and laser tag was the best! My daughter had such an amazing time, her friends loved her for including them, and the host, Kristen, was an absolute gem! If you can, I'd recommend requesting her if you go. I know I will! One huge negative part is the way they do their pricing. On top of how expensive it is, it's even more. But you don't see that until after you reserve the party, send out invites, and you and kid(s) get super excited for it. After a day or two, they send an email with the bill that you have to sign, and included in the bill is a $38 service charge. It's just another made-up fee that greedy corporations do to bleed you dry of every cent they can get. I don't blame the people who work at the event center. It's their corporate overlords who tell them what to do and answer to their stakeholders. Anywho, it was too late to decide against it by the time I saw that, so I felt I still needed to go. So just be forewarned: the parties are already crazy expensive, but they sneak in an extra 38 dollars on top of that. Again, I paid it, and then I also gave a healthy tip. I just didn't like how they handled their pricing on the front end. I'm sure glad we came anyways. It was a great experience overall and everyone with us had a great time. I definitely recommend them!

We thought this would be a cool new place to go to during spring break given that we usually go to Dave & Busters all the time and thought the kiddos might be burnt out on it & want to try something new. They advertise online at the LITTLE ROCK location to have Roblox world, Escape Rooms, Gravity Ropes, Multi-ball, Virtual Reality, Bowling, Pool, & Bowling. Lets start with they didnt have even HALF of this! They also have games you can play like at Dave and Busters, that are all 7.5 to 10 points, and a 200 point card is $35.00. So, you get to play approximately 20 video games for $35.00 basically. On top of that, there is a $3/per card activation fee!!! 😳 (Along with $2/pair for shoes to bowl, which would be expected if it were JUST a bowling alley). Lets just say they fell EXTREMELY short on the list of things to do! My mom and I took my son & niece there thinking we would be there forever and they're advertising the $18.99 deal/before noon as a "spring break special," when its actually like that all the time, just another gimmick. Upon arrival, we learned the only things they offered from the original list of non stop things to do, were the over priced video games, bowling, & laser tag. (Thats 3 of 8 mentioned things to do), and 11 & 12 year olds arent going to be playing pool. However, since we were already there, we decided to stay, which was a HUGE mistake. They each played 1 game of bowling, 2 games of laser tag, and had purchased them a 100 point card each. (Not knowing at the time what the cost of the games actually were). $120 later, they were ready to go after less than 2 hours! The "gift/ticket" shop was about like chuck e cheese, they couldn't afford to buy ANYTHING & what they could get, you might as well buy at the dollar tree! I wish more than anything I could get my money back! I feel SO ripped off! While bowling, I looked at a menu as we were all extremely thirsty but for $4?!?!? NO THANK YOU! Better pretend it's Magic Springs and pack an ice chest!

BEST OVERALL BET: STICK WITH D&B UNLESS YOURE JUST LOOKING TO BOWL OR PLAY LASER TAG....... We won't be going back! COMPLETE...
