LongHorn Steakhouse — Restaurant in Little Rock

The food as always been good for me. Most times the staff are greats hosts and waiters. Whats a little off to me is how they divide sections of the customers to spread out to take orders. Let me tell you what happened. Me and my daughter went in to make and wait for a to go order. Get in and the host is ready "how many" Im already knowing she thinks we will sit in so I told her Im gonna get a to go order. So we go to the bar and there is a lady there tending to a man. She lets me know she will be with me in a moment. When she does I tell her I would like to make a to go order. She says very nicely oh okay let me go get someone to help you. Im thinking I know you can but whatever. She leaves and a lady comes take my order we wait. While we wait I wonder why didn't the lady behind the counter do it. She wasnt doing much and she repeatedly came to her register to check out the other only two customers. Now my first thought was because we were black but I looked over and the guy she was tending to was black and it just so happens that the lady who is tending to us now is. But anyway it could have been anything like she was about to get off, maybe they were sharing the area just in case it got busy, or maybe she preferred someone else take my order. Although my food was good as always, guess what ...I wont be going over there. Help your support understand because we don't know and we living in the MAGA term. Its very sad racist world for us...

Backstory: I love the Longhorn franchise. However we've have several bad experiences at this location. My husband indulged me for date night tonight because Longhorn is one of my favorite restaurants and we haven't been in about 5-6 months due to his last experience. Husband sent his steak back 4 times the last time we came because they couldn't cook his steaks medium.

Today, our new waitress was amazing but we won't be back to this location. Based upon our experience she offered a discount that was not honored by the acting manager. We didn't even ask for a discount. That's the funny part Spent 87 dollars for a meal that was subpar and not what we expected. What went wrong: ordered the Passion fruit margarita and was told they don't make them on demand and only comes with Patron. I don't drink Patron sooo, I ordered another margarita. Why this pissed me off is that the last time I was here, they made it how I wanted it. Then we both ordered salads that were not chopped. Then the Mac n cheese tasted off/ awful. I just had it less than a month ago in the Memphis area and was excited to get it again. But it didn't didn't even come out with my meal because. They forgot about it. Sent it back as it had no flavor. Typically I only like to provide good or excellent reviews because I understand the impact of them. Today they did nothing right except have an amazing server on staff to keep us from completely...

Here's the deal. The last time we were here they received five stars. Atmosphere, service and quality of food were excellent. Maybe it was because due to the restrictions of covid-19. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful at first. We had to ask for water twice. We never received the bread. I ordered the 12 ounce Ribeye well done and my husband ordered the Chicken Fried Steak which was delicious. My steak wasn't well done and was sent back which wasn't a big deal. However upon return part of the steak was missing. We notified the manager she offered to replace but I declined. She offered a discount which was acceptable. However our waitress gave us the check and there wasn't any discount. They would have received 4 stars because the flavor was excellent but with the steak missing and the discount not applied, I felt they didn't deserve 4 stars. We could have brought this to the attention of management again, but it wasn't worth it. We just won't visit again. Oh well.

See review above! My first experience with this restaurant was several years ago and it wasn't good at all. My husband convinced me to give them another try. Oh boy was I pleasantly surprised. The food was spot on and flavours exploded into your mouth. My only regret was not taking a picture of the appetizer, "White Cheddar Stuffed Mushrooms". Our servers were very friendly and attentive.
