First off the buffet suppose to be $12 and some change, and when I looked at my ticket they charge me $13.99 for the buffet. When I try asking that lady that served our table about the $13, she just walked away. As if all of a sudden she don't speak English. Then when I called them back and tried to explain it to them. The man that answered the phone said the $13.99 part was gratuity. Okay I have no problem with that, but then at the bottom of the ticket was a extra gratuity. Then when I went to check out they had the audacity to still have a extra spot for another gratuity. I wish I would when the waiter didn't even deserve any gratuity by her attitude. The only thing the server is doing is getting your drinks and she leaves the dishes on the table until you leave. Then they charging gratuity for a table six and over. So basically to server is getting about $30 in tips just to go get somebody a drink. Because it's a serve yourself buffet. Which I have never seen a buffet charge gratuity. Everywhere you go these days these folks want to gratuity for doing nothing. The atmosphere was bad and not welcoming and the man that answered the phone. when I tried to talk about the extra gratuity hung up in my face, and I had to call them back. The food was not even stocked up when I went here, they had multiple trays empty that needed to be restocked on the buffet. The food was not seasoned at all everything taste plain. So basically I wasted my money because the food was disgusting. It was my first time there and I will not return, somebody told me about the restaurant and said that the food was good. NOT! This is your WARNING the...
Read moreI visited this restaurant today with my family, and I’m extremely disappointed in the experience. The menu clearly stated the buffet price as $12.55, yet we were charged nearly $16 per person—including an automatic gratuity. At a self-serve buffet, that just doesn’t make sense. Why are we being charged extra to serve ourselves?
To make matters worse, we were also charged for two additional buffets that no one in our party ordered. When we brought it up, the issue wasn’t addressed properly. The service was poor—our table wasn’t cleared during our meal, and our drinks were never refilled.
As an African-American family, we couldn’t help but notice the uncomfortable stares from staff and the lack of responsiveness when we asked about our bill or needed assistance. It felt dismissive and disrespectful.
And on top of all that, we were asked for a second tip at the register as we were leaving—after already being charged gratuity with the meal. That’s not just excessive, it’s shady business.
To be honest, the food wasn’t even good. If you’re looking for quality food and respectful service, I strongly recommend going next door to Samurai. Their food is excellent, and their customer service is...
Read moreDried out, overcooked food on Sunday dinner rush. We paid $27 to barely be able to eat anything. The sweet n sour chicken was HOURS old, Dried out and hard to chew. So was 90% of the dishes. My GF is allergic to poultry and, other than vegetarian or seafood dishes (which there are 2-3), she couldn't eat anything because they only have 2-3 non chicken dishes. They were out of Mongolean pork and ignored my GF when she requested more. The beef dish (no idea what it was) was out the entire time, as well. The did have a roast beef slicing station but it was so old it was black and cracking. The Hot n Sour soup was liquid corn starch.....completely inedible. Some stuff was out so long it had films on top. We usually like this place but this was hands down the nastiest, most disappointing Chinese buffet experience I can remember having in years....and the place was packed full of people. How do you have 4-5 empty food places, zero beef or pork options out (all empty besides the roast beef rock) and food left out for 4 hours+ when you have an almost full...
