Frontier Diner — Restaurant in Little Rock

Food was fresh & filling. Service was fast and friendly! This quaint, cozy, cute as a button restaurant is a great place for families, couples and small groups looking to eat straightforward, unpretentious comfort food in a laid-back easy going atmosphere. The Frontier Diner server (I forget her name...a slender lady with a warm smile and long brown hair gathered back in one thick rope braid) was pleasant and professional. We stopped in on a chilly November day and she quickly brought us coffee and hot chocolate to warm us up! The diner serves generous portions of homecookin' kinds of food. I ordered the Banana French Toast, which was drier than I anticipated (I thought the bananas would be in some yummy buttery caramelized sauce, but they weren't), that wasn't a cause for complaint though; I added butter and syrup and had a solidly good breakfast. The silver dollar pancakes I ordered for my 4 year old were HUGE! The kid's plate is definitely enough for an adult. She ate one flapjack and we took the other home (it was just as delicious when we reheated it). My 11 year old's slice of country (bone-in) ham was smaller than online pics led us to believe it would be, but it was plenty for her. I’ve been coming in to eat @ this diner since the late 70’s: under numerous managements, & have enjoyed a few thousand meals here. No restaurant ANYWHERE, can produce every single meal absolutely perfect, each time: but that being said…this particular group of managerial folks are probably the finest ones to operate the restaurant since I have been coming in here. The preparatory staff in the kitchen, work like a fine-oiled machine, putting out the dishes quickly and efficiently. All the waitresses p/u the food,@ the window swiftly, to get it out to the correct consumers: & do it with a genuine smile on their faces. The owners regularly check the dining areas, to make certain that their customers have a satisfactory & amenable experience. Me and my wife came here to eat today and we was told we can sit down anywhere.

Me and my wife proceeded to sit down. Table wasn’t cleaned. I said don’t worry we can just ask them to clean the table before we get served.

The server cleaned every table but ours. We was sitting as well for 10 minutes. Server not one time came.

Soon as these people that were White walked in and sat down. Yes they were white. They was not sitting no more then 10 seconds and the waitress came quick how may I help you. Can I order you anything. Get you anything to drink The waitress looked me in walked away
