They are often out of marinara sauce or just very slow with the delivery. I haven't been able to figure out if this is a management issue, kitchen issue, or just front end staff. Either way, I used to work at Sonic and noting there takes 10 minutes to make, but wait time is often 12-15 minutes. I understand that sometimes people place multiple orders, and that happy hour tends to be the busiest time of day, but that's why Sonic has general policies in place like making sure drink orders get ran out the side door within 2 minutes etc...I had to wait more than 5 minutes before on ice or waters, and that's just ridiculous. This is especially aggravating for drive-thru times, because my coworkers and I have been told a few times that they don't take multiple orders in the drive through. So the drive-thru should also be ran more smoothly.
The best part about this Sonic is the carhops because most of them still smile, and don't mind running back in real quick if you need sauce that wasn't out in your bag, extra napkins, or anything like that. I try to always leave these hardworking girls a good tip because I know they earn it, but also because I'm sure they get a lot of complaints that really aren't their fault. Read moreMobile order they claimed they didn’t have but I was checked in to my stall with my name on the screen. Used red button after 10 minutes -they said no order then found it and started to make it, then red button at 20 minutes -said no order, oh wait, it’s ready it just needs to be brought out. 2 minutes later I got cold food and asked for hot food. About 6 minutes later manager brings warmish tots and burger and complains that the mobile app doesn’t work right even though I’ve used it multiple times at this location with no problem. She also complained that the first bag of food was hot because it was in a hot box. Hmmmm I guess food doesn’t stay hot in a hot box for 22 minutes. Sounds like a management problem because the only customer they had they forgot about and never delivered a hot correct order of food after multiple requests and more than 30 minutes. Anyway I gave back the second burger because it had the wrong stuff on it. Ate the tots because I was hungry and drove off drinking coke from a broken lidded cup because the fresh one she brought tasted like diet. Oh and their ketchup packets were stuck together.
Do yourself a favor and go to David’s because way better and also cheaper. Especially considering I didn’t even get my burger after that...
Read moreIf i could give no stars I would, they are freaking horrible. The service is terrible. Then one of the workers was just giving free food to anyone who came to the stalls. I guess one of her friends. She was just completely talking with customers for like 30 minutes. Then on top of that she watched us pulled up went inside and someone clicked my mobile order which by the way i did not receive. Waited on the food to show up and no one came. Mind you ordered the food at 9:15pm and showed up at 9:30pm so I was so confused. I was not mad until I was upset that everyone was looking around as if they did not press the button to let me know on the screen someone was bringing the food. Overall, either way it was an whole hour and then when i pressed the red button to let them know I was cut off rudely before I could even state the problem to go the drive thru window the stalls was closed, and then when I came to the window they acted confused but somehow the manager knew the food because all I gave them was my name and she has the food promptly. So the frustration is there was so many options they could of done but instead chose to ignore us but gave free food to people they knew. So overall need better service somewhere somehow.
