EXCELLENT DELICIOUS FOOD BUT HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Okay, hear me out. The food here is absolutely AMAZING and the prices are fantastic. You get a lot of delicious and authentic food for your money. I am going to give this place 5 stars only because I do not think that the problem is the owner. I think the problems happen when he is not around. Okay so there is a waitress there with black hair. I don't remember her name. She was our waitress and we maybe seen her twice. She never came back to refill our drinks and chips. There was another waitress there who was so very helpful and attentive. She was quick. She basically took over our table because the other one just wanted to disappear and hang out with her follow workers. The waitress that was actually hard working seemed a bit younger than our original waitress. I feel as though she gets taken advantage of by her other employees because every time we come here, she is the most hard working one out of all of them. I REALLY wish I knew her name because she deserves the recognition. She is brunette with some blonde in her hair. Kind of short. Speaks very little english. Despite the language barrier she works her tail off! The other girls literally just sat around on their phones and didn't pay much attention to the customers. Again, the food is absolutely amazing. It's the best I have had in a long time but this place could definitely use more employees like the second girl who waited on us. She deserves a raise. Is is a very casual Mexican restaurant with a worn out exterior but updated and clean interior. It has a simple menu that covers soup, tacos, burritos, enchiladas, and fajitas. They have a good selection of meat including lengua and tripas, which I had. The tacos are ‘street’ style with two corn tortillas wrapped around your choice of meat or shrimp. We both enjoyed them immensely especially since they were $1.50 each, except for the lengua and tripas, which were $2.00 each. The plate comes with grilled onions, sliced cucumber, lime slices, and onions. We have finally found a Mexican restaurant we will dine at often even though it’s almost an hour away. I went one evening I sat the bar because I was only going for drinks. The bartender (who wasn’t a real bartender) / waitress made my margarita with no liquor. Because it was late and I was there I just said screw it give me the margarita and a shot on the side. I tried to do it again for my second drink but now she’s acting like she doesn’t understand me at all. I just kept pointing at the menu to what I wanted. I wasn’t loud or rude, it was barely 6 people in there. Next thing I know an off duty Mexican cop tapped me on the shoulder and said “we get there’s a language barrier but we just want you to pay and go.
