Every day after the gym I was going to eat my salad. It was a healthy way to follow my diet. It was basically six days a week. But one day everything changed in my work and I had to ask for my salad to take away. This unfortunate day the young cashier who attended me was very rude. I stood waiting for my box to take my food and she with a very bad attitude said: -WHAAAT? Can't you see the salad bar? Pointing at the bar with her hand. I replied: -Excuse me, but I told you that my order is "to go" So she took one box and gave it to me in a very bad way and made a face of disgust. So at the exit I could see the manager and I approached him to comment on that incident; and then I got out of there. Today I went back to the restaurant and guess what? There was the same cashier who did not even wait for me to order my food and simply grabbed a box and with an even ruder attitude and smiling mockingly gave me a box to take away, to which I replied "NO THANK YOU MA'am" And I waited for the other young cashier to order my food since that day my daughter was with me and we had the intention of eating there. That cashier (the rude one) walked over to one of the managers and I don't know what she told them, but she came back smiling and looking at me in a way that made me very uncomfortable. At that moment the manager approached and I asked him: -What's the problem that this girl has with me? I just come to eat and she treats me like I did something wrong! The manager answered me: - "Ma'am, you always have a complaint about us." I was stunned. ALWAYS? But how? I have come to this restaurant almost daily and for more than six years this has been my favorite place to eat and I have never complained about anything. (I also often bring in new clients when I have the opportunity) What did you mean by ALWAYS? My eyes filled with tears for the courage and helplessness that I felt when I felt so discriminated against, attacked and offended. I just canceled my meal and said: -"Thank you very much but I am not going to eat here. The manager replied: -" Please " I left there, with no desire to return to that restaurant...
Read moreI gave this place a 5 star rating for years. Then, changed it lower during covid. Now, it's back up to 5 stars. Before covid, the salad bar was $8.99 all you can eat. Now, it's around $13.00. During covid, it was $12.00 for a one trip salad bar with no side dishes so all your pasta oozed into your salad. We stopped eating here due to that and planned on never coming back. A month ago, the kids wanted to eat here....and I am so glad that they did. The salad bar is back up to all you can eat. Is it more expensive? Yes, but that's ok cause so is just about every other place. It has several pastas on it. Pros: Free ice cream. The food is great. It's super clean but it wasn't during covid. Cons: My 7 year old son's salad was the same price as the adult...and he doesn't eat much. The service is fast but we also go when it's not busy. They open early: 10 am --and the salad bar is always ready to go. Sometimes the music is loud: They are doing better about the overhead music but the Hispanic workers sit in the back booths eating in the early morning 10:30-11 am --which is when we come--and they listen to music/videos in Spanish super loud. It's a little pricey. For a half sandwich with a side and drink, we paid around $20.00 per person and we had no leftovers. The salad bar is a much better deal. The tea is nasty. They used to have fabulous tea but now it's all watered down with low sugar. I have tried it three times in the past month and a half with the same results so don't expect good tea. We plan...

I ordered 2 salads and 1 tea. I wanted to pay for 1 salad with cash, the other and the tea with my card.
Cici (Ceecee?), was super sweet, but misunderstood what I wanted to do. Eventually we figured out that she needed to just void and restart my transaction.
The manager AJ came over. He seemed a bit perturbed when he walked up and she told him what was wrong. I tried (more than once) to make him understand that it was a simple mistake and that Cici was NOT at fault. Simple miscommunication, especially with the masks.
He still seemed irritated with her, then he got irritated with me, telling me he CAN'T split my order.
I order from Jason's regularly. Both for office events and for individuals in the office. I have never had any trouble splitting a check. I told him fine, give me back the cash, I'd pay with my card and my boss and I could sort it later. He gave me back the cash, and I held out my card, he took it and then handed it back, telling the the terminal is "down there" (on the counter). Fine. Whatever.
I am writing this review for one reason only. To make sure I do everything I can to make sure that Cici is not in any trouble. He was snotty to her and to me in front of his employees and other guests, so I can only imagine what an employee might be treated like behind the...
