Lulu's Seafood Kitchen — Restaurant in Little Rock

Not sure what restaurant everyone leaving good reviews ate at but it's definitely not this place!! I ordered from door dash tonight from Lulu's, the driver dropped off dinner in a reasonable amount of time- no complaints there, but everything took a nose dive from that point on. I was missing several items from my order I quickly found out unpacking the bags. So I called the restaurant and spoke with the manager who informed me he would just give me the items if I could come and pick them up. I explained I wasn't asking for anything to be given to me- I'm only looking for the things I had ordered and paid for. He then stated that he would give me and extra entrée' for the inconvenience. I explained that I did not want another entrée' as I had already ordered all the food I needed, I'm staying in a hotel in Little Rock so it would not be helpful to have the extra food. I did say if he wanted to comp me something a dessert would be a nice gesture as I had not ordered any dessert with my dinner. He then asked if I had ordered any dessert, I said no and the matter of giving me a dessert to accommodate my troubles was forgotten about entirely. I ended up giving him a list of the items that I was shorted and he advised me to come pick them up and he would just give me all the things I was missing. I then explained to him that he wasn't giving me anything- I was now driving to get the food I had already paid for to have delivered while the rest of my food was getting cold in my hotel room with the rest of my family eating without me. So, I go to the restaurant and no one wants to address me waiting at the hostess station, despite the fact that I have not been rude, not swearing or yelling or any of the things that would typically make someone uncomfortable. When an employee came to ask what I needed I let him know what I was there to get and he went to the back. He brought me out a bag that was still missing and item- I would say that I was smart to check the bag before I left the store but, it turns out that I'm not smart enough to actually open the lid on the item he handed me because- (shocker) it was still not the right item- I found that one out when I got back to the hotel room to eat my cold food. Before leaving I asked the staff member if he was the manager I spoke with earlier- he said no and went directly to that person, who promptly ignored me when he walked by. I had mistakenly stood there for a couple minutes longer thinking that since the other employee told him I had asked about him he might come over and talk to me about what happened- no such luck. Next I will just say, all of this was a total waste of my time because the food was mostly all tasteless and what did taste- the shrimp etoufee- tasted like medicine, absolutely awful. I was thinking I might just call the owner/ manager tomorrow but instead I'm hoping he/she reads this and understands what caliber of staff he/ she employs in their restaurant and to warn others, save your money- this food is not worth the price you pay and you might wind up paying to deliver your own food too!! I usually never write reviews unless they are positive reviews but this was too much not to let someone know exactly what is going on down at...

My daughter wanted to go to this place for her 18th birthday back in March. She also invited several of her friends as well. She had eaten there once before however, My wife and I and other daughters had not. The place is tiny. However, upon arriving I told the person at the counter we were going to have about 12-14 people. They told us it would be about 30 or so. We were willing to wait. My family and I love crab boils and some people we knew said it was good and my daughter said she enjoyed it the last time she came. To be honest the food wasn't that good. It was average at best and little flavor. But, what really made me angry is the gratuity that was added on. Yes, on their menu it states if you have 10 or more in your party they charge a 18% gratuity. Generally, that makes since when going to a restaurant to eat...but, that's because they sit you everyone at the same table. In this case we had separate tables and were seated apart from one another. That's not a considered a party. First of all, they are way over priced and the food isn't that great. Secondly, we were separated from each other. Third, The service was horrible. How does it remain a party when people are separated? Even after talking to management they still that an 18% gratuity should be added to everyone's bill. It wasn't until I finished my meal when the waiter came back and brought me a refill of water. My daughters table was 2 tables in front of us so we couldn't eat together. Their table complained about their service as well. So, they basically guaranteed a top tip no matter what kind of service they gave. Just a horrible experience. We will NEVER go back. Besides, I just went by and got some food from Mighty Crab in NLR. Their crab boils are AMAZING. And it was take out. Plus, it was way cheaper than Lulus and you get more food. If you can, do't waste your money on Lulu's over priced boils. This was by far my worst experience I have ever had with any restaurant for one I didn't receive all of the items my group paid for due to chaos! The left side of my body was covered in butter as well as my hair by a waitress once I alarmed the staff they gave a nonchalant and very dry oh sorry... it couldn't have been less sympathetic and sarcastic... as my first time it was a horrible experience.. also another member of my group was covered in seafood juices and butter.. One of the males of our group stated that he felt an action should be taken place such as a discount on my meal due to the inconvenience and a staff member said it's nothing we can sue about it we don't do freebies here.. nobody asked for anything free �� as the situation escalated another employee approached the table saying she doesn't want customers like us there and we are not welcome... we asked for our check several times during the argument between one of our party members and the staff member.. in which our total came to +150 I was livid because I arrived at the restaurant later than everyone else so I didn't get all my food that was paid for.. this situation has left me beyond disbelief that the staff would behave in such a way... the staff member threatened to become PHYSICAL several times just because we inquired about how poorly we were being treated. I will be contacting the news about this incident.. such poor service and I'm extremely disappointed as I had high hopes for...
