Waffle House — Restaurant in Little Rock

I've been to this Waffle House three times now, all on third shift. The first couple of times everything was absolutely perfect, I had an older Caucasian gentleman who cooked an omelet for my girlfriend and chicken for me. It was wonderful. This last time, however, I had an older African American gentleman who had a very sour attitude. He was very condescending, and he messed up my order in three different ways, even after assuring me, there was no confusion. I'm not usually very confrontational, so I decided to just take it rather than argue, and when I got back, I was so disgusted I just trashed the whole order, and brought her to Sonic before work. As a Waffle House employee going on 2 years, I found his behavior to be shameful and unacceptable. I will not be doing business here when he is cooking again. My one regret is that I do not remember either...

6-7-2024 8:00 a.m. The little guy(cook) that wears a super star shirt is the rudest, nastiest mouthed youngster I've seen in a long time. He yells at the women(not men) like dogs. It was so nice when he quit people laughed again. I think the lady mgr. is scared of him as she stays at the end and away from him. I've never seen her correct him. If he is such a super star why can't he get everyone at the table food out at the same time? This happens often. Complained to manager she went and stood at the end her favorite hiding spot. I would fire who ever hired hims back everyone's attitude went down hill when he returned. I've complained to servers more than once and they all said the same thing. He's just young and snappy we stay out of his way. We will return to Bryant until nasty...

I’ve tried this place twice. The 1st attempt, around this time a few weeks ago, no one said anything to us. We waited 20 minutes then left. Tonight I ordered a patty melt hash bowl. It was literally a hash brown, cheese, and ground beef. The cook prepared it and left it sitting up while he went outside. I had to ask if that was my food. I will NEVER attempt this place again, at night. I may try it during another shift. There seems to be people patronizing it during the daytime hours… maybe the service is better then. Wish I could give it no stars. I really wish they hadn’t built this place in my neighborhood. Looking at he reviews, it won’t be here long. Obviously there’s something wrong with the night...
