Feb.7th,2025 at 11 a.m. :: Being our 1st time in this establishment ...Our 1st encounter was with a young white lady at the front door, for a full 4 minutes straight didn't look up at nor speak to myself & my associate as we stood there looking at her, waiting to be addressed. When she finally did have a mind to at least speak to us, it was in a condescending & extremely nonchalant tone...as if we were bothering her for something unimportant with our presence. We were seated near what seemed like an opening end of the kitchen of the restaurant...definitely not a favorite spot. Our waitress brianna i think was her name was a young black-ish lady. Her attention, attitude, speech & tone was much like our 1st encounter with your staff...Uncomfortable & very awkward. She was very pushy on whether or not we had questions about anything...just as we were trying to look at the menu, very nonchalant, a tad impatient & dry as hell...to say she showed no real hospitality towards us. She tossed napkins on our table as she asked us about drinks we wanted. Reached too close & over us & our faces with plates & items..slightly tossing them. No warmth, no smiles, no kindness. How ever, these good actions were given to "other" customers that came in after us...but not us. It wasn't until we made it clear we would be making a review about our experience that any shape, form or fashion of hospitality was "slightly" trying to peer out from her. What somewhat saved the experience was the kind & beautiful smiled chef that came out twice to ask us of our experience & offered real assistance. He definitely made a grand difference after the awkward & very uneasy atmosphere we had thus far endured. The brianna young lady was given a tip from my purse that I honestly felt she did not deserve at the end of our ordeal...but because we are decent women we weren't going to return the treatment we were given. As far as the food, it was ok. However the staffs service, attitude & attention is what truly puts this establishment in a very dim light. Thank the kind cute chef that cared enough about the customers to react better than the rest of the staff. I am the establishment, selection & service scout for 3 large groups of ladies, they depend upon my opinion of a place we think to maybe try at some point for services. I am glad that your establishment is doing very well...it however will continue to do very well without our patronage. I will not return, nor will I advise my legions to come to this restaurant. Continue to take care in...
Read moreOrdered wings, received all drums even though it should be a mixture of drums and flats as advertised. Sent them back, received the same drums I sent back plus fresh flats. Even though all 7 times I’ve eaten the wings here they were crispy, this time there were soft and rubbery. I kindly explained this to the waitress and asked for them to be recooked, willing to wait patiently.
A man who I believe was the kitchen manager approached my table aggressively, didn’t speak, and asked, “So you want us to cook your wings 3 times?! (While holding up 3 fingers)” Mind you, BOTH issues I had with my meal were the KITCHEN’S fault!
Spoke to the GM. While venting to him about the issue, I stated that in my business, if an employee of mine approached and treated a family like that, they would be terminated; (simply trying to express just how offensive and rude the kitchen manager was, NOT suggesting that he go fire him!) Even though the GM said no words the entire time, he immediately interrupted me there and stated, “He transferred from [inaudible], I can only teach and coach, not fire someone for a mistake.”
I found it inappropriate, unprofessional, and inconsiderate of my experience (after I’ve supported this business numerous times) that BEFORE the GM even apologized, he basically jumped to defend him calling it a “mistake”. At that point, I walked away.
It is VERY clear that this new kitchen manager is VERY comfortable and used to being this way. Or else, there’s no way he would’ve done that while the GM...
Read moreWe were excited to try this restaurant now that the Little Rock location is open and went on a semi-busy Saturday night. We were told it would be a 20-30 minute wait and were given a buzzer. We waited outside because there was no room on the benches inside. We then watched as two other parties of two, who came in after us, were sat before us. When we approached the hostess about this, she proceeded to put the blame on us saying she skipped over us because we were "outside instead of inside" (despite us having the buzzer?). She would not admit her mistake in front of her other coworkers and manager, and only admitted to her mistake after she sat us. The cherry on top was the fact that she proceeded to sit us at the smallest table in the entire restaurant. Our waitress was great and was the only good part of the entire experience. The food, however, was almost as bad as the hostess. We ordered the Lemon Butter Chicken and the Bayou Pasta. The chicken tasted as if the ENTIRE salt container was dumped on it. (NOTE: Apparently we're not the only ones to experience this sort of heavy handed saltiness on the food. Please read the other multiple reviews with the same concern.) The pasta was extremely dry and had no taste whatsoever. Needless to say that we will not be back, and we hope no one else has to go through the same experience at this subpar establishment. You're better off spending your money at the...
