5 Stars! If you know, you Dubbs.
Dubbs isnât just a barâitâs a heartbeat. Locally owned and operated since the â90s, this neighborhood dive is the kind of place that quietly becomes your second home. Iâm a regular, and Iâm telling you, this place has soul.
The bartenders? All-stars, each in their own unique way. Tyler and Megan, especially, bring warmth, wit, and just the right pour every time. They donât just serve drinksâthey serve vibes. Real ones.
What makes Dubbs special is the people. A wild and wonderful family of regulars, all different in backgrounds, stories, and styles, but united by one thing: kindness. Itâs like soul food for your social life. But be warnedâthis family is protective of its home. If you come in with a bad attitude, looking to start something or spread negativity, youâre not going to enjoy your time. This place thrives on connection, not conflict.
Outside, the Famous Amos taco truck seals the deal. His tacos, nachos, and even wings are made fresh and full of flavor. Amos is not just serving foodâheâs serving joy, often with a big smile and contagious energy.
Sure, there are a few negative reviews floating around, but honestly? Some people are just looking to be upset. If youâre upset about the price of a drink at a small, local bar with this much heartâmaybe youâre better off hitting up a discount liquor store and staying in.
But if youâre looking for a place where you can laugh, be yourself, feel seen, and maybe even find some unexpected friendships, come on in. Walk through that door with a smile and a little openness, and thereâs a good chance youâll leave with more than you came in forâbecause Dubbs is the kind of place where everybody just might...
Read moreThis place has completely gone downhill đ My husband and I came here for a few years regularly and after COVID when we came back we were treated pretty bad. We came in, played pinball and when we went to get a drink, the bartender straight denied us any drinks and said she wouldn't serve us. We had zero drinks and weren't doing anything wrong. When asked why, she wouldn't answer us. I found it odd that my husband was the only one in there with brown skin and feel like that's the reason we weren't served. It was the only reason I could see đ¤ˇđŻ The live karaoke was also better than the machine they replaced...
Read moreI'm going to leave 4 stars on this post because I've been going to this bar off and on for 5 years I guess you could say I'm a regular reason why I'm making this post is because the new karaoke person named Amy sing with Amy is about as rude and unprofessional as they come in my professional opinion I think she should continue playing at Wheels because the clientele at Wheels is nowhere near the upscale clientele at dubs just Google Wheels bar that gets 4.1 I will change the compared to dubs that gets 4.6 and you tell me which is the better bar by far Amy should go elsewhere to...
