Duffeyroll Bakery Cafe — Restaurant in Englewood

Let me start by saying that the two gentleman working made up for this expierience I had but I still want to bring this up... Yesterday we went in and made an order for dine in. The blonde girl working proceeded to have a conversation with this weird looking guy while our order was never started. 20+ mins later we are even hungrier and keep looking for signs of our meal, another customer came after us and bubble head blonde makes his order and brings it to him. We asked her "excuse me where is our meal?" Her response was a blank faced "HUH?" We told her what we ordered and she just said "OH, one sec" then we look up and she is getting into a car wih the same guy she was too busy talking to. We walk up to the counter to ask for a refund and this point and the cook told us that she never even sent our order. Charged my card ofcourse but didn't let anyone one what the f* was going on. Such a unprofessional worker that maybe shouldn't be working if she can't even comprehend how to communicate or do her job properly. Will only be back after the two men working...

I had never been here before so I asked the woman taking my order what was in one of the rolls (there was not a description of this one on the menu). She told me, but her tone was very much why would you even ask that. It made me feel like I shouldn't have asked and just uncomfortable in general. There wasn't a line behind me or anything either. I ordered something else but just didn't feel super welcomed. Which is a shame because I was super excited about coming here and was going to ask for recommendations and possibly order stuff for the rest of my family. I also noticed that the food was cold and I did not see any microwaves to heat it up (although I could have missed it).

I will say that the price was very reasonable. Food wise, I ended up having the bacon and cheese roll. It was alright, although I think it would have been better warm. The mixed-in ingredients were mainly in the bottom center of the roll, so I also think it would be better to eat it with a fork and knife, which I didn't do. It also gave me a bit of an upset stomach...

We absolutely love this place! The entire team is so warm and welcoming! Its clean!! The food is delicious! I'm officially addicted to the cinnamon spice coffee! Where has this been all my life??! My daughter's favorite is the zesty orange cinnamon roll! They also have the savory rolls so if you're not in the mood for sugar, try those morsels! Yummo!! Even if you come in in a bad mood, you'll be sure to leave with a smile on!
