The Worst Qdoba in Colorado? Maybe.
I live 1 mile away from this location. The root problem at this store is the manager (maybe the owner, too). He's a cheapskate, a miser. This store has, in the past, hired sub-standard employees for the night shift, so I started visiting other stores.
I found ALL of the other Qdobas (about 20 locations visited) were superior to this South Broadway location, in terms of quality of service. Food is okay, although some of the night shift definitely could use a shower.
Today was the straw that broke my back.
I always order 3 tacos, to-go, with the $2 tub of Queso. I politely request a side bag of chips. YOU KNOW, CHIPS to DIP in the QUESO? the $4 queso comes with chips, but the $2 queso doesn't? Wut?
All of the employees have gladly satisfied my request, at some locations they charge me for the chips, and I've never argued with them, when they have charged me.
This same order (3 tacos + $2 tub of queso), has cost me $11.80, $9.80 (if they don't ring the queso), or $14.80, if they charge me for the chips. I've never had a problem, charge me whatever, but GIVE ME WHAT I ASKED FOR, right?
The owner / manager of the South Broadway location has "forgotten" the CHIPS THREE TIMES NOW. NOBODY ELSE FORGETS, JUST HIM. He thinks he's giving me something "FREE" even though I visit this location 3X a week, and I ALWAYS GET THE SAME THING.
I'm done with going here. I'll go to the Aspen Grove or Arapahoe Rd / University...
Read moreWhen I was walking in there were 2 ladies behind the counter one was eating, The other person behind the counter was sweeping the floor. When I walked up she put the broom down and walked over to put on some clothes. I stopped her and and asked, do you mind washing your hands?" She looked hesitant and kind of upset that I had asked, but she did. She comes from around the corner as if she had washed her hands with gloves on. I was a little suspicious about the activity, so I asked her if she could please change her gloves one more time for my peace of mind. By the look on her face, I could tell she did not want to do that, but she still did. After she completed making my food, she overcharged me for food that I did not get. When I pointed it out to her, she seemed flustered and tried to give me my money back. But the time frame that I had would not allow me to wait for her. So I asked her. Would it be easier for her to give me some chips? Instead of refunding me my $3 and she agreed. The point of the story is that she should have the knowledge to wash her hands directly after sweeping the floor and prepping someone's food. I would have just left, but it was the only time...
Read moreBoth my partner and I are closers at our jobs so there aren’t many places that we can pick up food from. Tonight we placed an order to be picked up at 9:50 but I ran into some circumstances closing and ended up making it there at 10:01 a minute after close. As soon as the workers saw my headlights they quickly turned off the lights and began their closing procedures. Which I absolutely understand, what I can’t wrap my head around is why everyone inside ignored me signaling at the door that I wanted to grab the bag of food left at the pick up counter. They went to such extents of ignoring me that they would take unnatural turns around corners and tables to avoid eye contact. After about 10 minutes of attempting to signal that all I wanted was my to go bag, I took my ball and went home. If that was all I wouldn’t leave this review, I attempted to cancel the order on the Qdoba website. Which they allowed; however, they declined to refund me my money. Which feels like a really odd pay off. 20-30 dollars to look at my food and become the phantom of the Qdoba parking lot. I would like my money back please. Atmosphere was...
