I'll start that the food was actually pretty good. The prices are outrageous and I get it...everything is more expensive anymore but $20 for the small Alfredo is over the top, we ordered more food, this was an example. My 1 star rating was the service. There was only 1 person working at the time we came in. There was only 1 table occupied and they seemed to have already finished their food and was just hanging out. We waited 50 minutes for our food. We sat there and watched our order be placed under the food lamps which took up a small corner of the lamp counter, probablyabout 15-20 minutes afterwe ordered. We proceeded to watch our order get more and more food piled over the top of ours and then the whole lamp counter was completely filled. During this time a woman came in and waited for about 15 minutes, the guy never came out of the kitchen. She left. Another person came in and waited about the same time and left. When the person finally came out of the kitchen, there was no apology for the wait, he was just moseying along lackadaisical, bagged our food and that was it. It appears that an online order came in probably right as we were ordering and the worker either didn't know how to prioritize orders or flat out just didn't care. I'm guessing the latter. Unfortunately we won't return based solely on the experience and the cost. I would understand 20 minutes or maybe 30, but almost an hour wait for sandwiches and pasta is crazy. I wouldn't say never go there, if you have the time and can stomach the prices, by all means...
Read moreI've given this place 3 chances and it's time to leave this review. The staff is actually very friendly, even though they take forever to complete an order. The primary reason for the low amount of stars is that the food is just bad, it's just doesn't taste good, simple as that. Each time I've gone I've tried 3 different menu items. The first 2x I went, I had the cheesy bread the 1st and 2nd time I had the Alfredo sandwich. Both were way too salty and just plain bad. The worst experience I had was the most recent time I went, which will most definitely be the last. I ordered the Alfredo pasta, my favorite food in the world! What they presented to me was an assault on my taste buds that I will need therapy to recover from. The sauce tasted like bland water. It wasn't the creamy deliciousness that you expect when you want some Alfredo. Again, the staff is nice, but this is the worst Italian food I've ever experienced. Their idea of a fine Italian meal is Ragu and a fistful of velveeta cheese....

The chicken parm sandwich is mind-blowingly good. Better than it has any f-ing right to be. You will not find one like it in Denver, possibly your life.
However, to order one means you're going to wait. I'm talking an hour long wait from time of ordering to get one. If you order more than one, boy howdy good luck. Let's say you order 4. It's a gamble if you're going to get one of the first 2 sandwiches made that sit in their staging area will while the other 2 come out fresh while you wait.
But the wait...is worth it. You'll see other people pile in and join you on your quest for a chicken parm perfection. Crispy, buttery bread holding light, juicy chicken cutlet paired with marinara and melted cheese through out. So buckle up bubby and...
