I work in the service industry. I have never been treated nor would I treat a customer in the manner that the gentleman that waited on me this afternoon wait, was treating people. I didnât know there was a drive up window or I wouldâve driven up there but the people that were driving up there had to get out of their cars and come get in the line that I was in to get their food. He informed everybody when they picked up their food that he was the only person working in there, and when I walked away, there were four people in there, and a lady who would came outside to take a break. He informed me when I walked up to the window that he couldnât wait on me because he had too many orders and that he wished I wouldâve done it online. It also states that if youâre paying with a credit card you get to pay an increased price so I went to pay with cash and he said well I have a problem because I donât have that much cash on hand. So because I work in the service industry, I had the exact amount needed for my bill. Which kind of pissed him off. Awful customer service. Food was not very good. The chili is not Santiagos chili. Englewood Donald Happy birthdaySantiagos is amazing theyâre slammed and they take really good care of you and they treat people...
Read moreThe issue is we were waiting in line for 15 to 20 minutes and then they would not come to the window then show up after 10 people were waiting ask if anyone had pick up and someone finally complained that they have not taken any orders. She said you can go through the drive through or order online. They were faster after ordering online but why have a window if you are not willing to serve customers. I hope they figure it out. But itâs not ideal to have people wait 20 minutes and see them and then finally say to them they should be ordering online after waiting so long then everyone but 1 group ended up ordering online. She did start telling people who came up that they are supposed to order online. The overall consensus is they need a better system. Then the drive thru blocked all the cars. She then told the entire group you have to order online if you get mad. Everyone was being patient and one person waiting a while questioned why they werenât even taking orders and she said if you are mad you have to order online. She blamed one person for asking why they werenât taking orders. Some customer service training should be prioritized. After waiting 30 minutes the burrito was lukewarm...
Read moreYes I love their breakfast burritos. Heck even promoted them before they opened this location since I stop at their other locations when nearby.
Although as a walk up customer I'm turned away or discouraged more than not. I started there as a walk up customer, eventually told no walk ups allowed, I avoided the place for a bit and saw the lines drop. Then I see walk ups and the lines of people again and tried again all was good for a couple weeks noticed the even put a POS by the window finally. Then I'm discouraged with bogus wait times. Even had the wife do an online order after my walk up, hers came up first, and much faster than the time I was told. The guy waits for a car to park, people get out and walk up to see if they have a to go order, instead of taking my order in that time. Today I was told I would have to wait for the drive thru line, well my picture shows 1 car already at the window that left before I got in my car, the to go shelves empty, hmm what to wait for?
Times are changing, customer interaction is gone I guess. May as well be robots...
