Took one of my patients in here and was pretty pleased. The staff, though obviously not used to accommodating people with catastrophic injuries, really did everything they could to be helpful and didn't complain when moved from a table we chose, to a booth across the room. This may not sound like a big deal, but it really was - they had already made room for the wheelchair and got us set up, before we realized how the sun was coming in through the blinds. Without any hesitation, they helped us set up on the oposite side of the building, again away from most of the other patrons so that we could feed him with a little privacy and dignity. The food was typical Waffle House, nothing special, or bad. On the downside, the reason for 4/5 stars and not at all the staff's fault, it's not a great set up for people in wheelchairs. The doors at the entrance are too close and there's no auto door opener to assist, but they did their best to move things around for us once we were inside and the kindness, and patience, they showed us while we were there was very greatly...
Read moreThought Waffle House would be a great breakfast to start the day, how could you go wrong right? Well, went in and sat in the corner window which apparently doesn’t get air flow because it was so hot I was sweating. I almost thought the AC was broken but as we went to pay I could feel some air. Don’t sit near windows I guess the AC is not strong enough to keep it cool even with the shades down like they were. Got to looking at the air vents and with how dirty the ceilings are in that place I’m sure the AC is struggling. Our waitress was ok, spent a lot of time socializing at the bar, the coffee was horrible and our food was cooked poorly. The hash browns were barley browned while the bacon was literally black from being burnt. We both felt sick the rest of the day. They got busy right when we came in, but the food was just horrible and that shouldn’t be the reason. I had just visited another Waffle House not too long ago, and it was great! Disappointed in this location- not giving up on Waffle Houses all together, but will not come back to this...
Read moreFirst time here and right when we walked in the waitress was like you can sit where ever you find a table clean. We waited for ever for someone to even offer water. The cook and waitress were arguing loudly using curse words. We asked for hot chocolate and the waitress said this will take a while because i have to make it... Then when we got hot chocolate the cups were really dirty. All the tables were dirty and no one were cleaning them. There was a cup on the ground that was being kicked every time the waitress passed by. It go to the point were i was like seriously why do they not pick it up so i told the waitress why they don't pick up the cup instead of kicking it every time she passed by and she did not answer and just looked at me... i was like wow horrible customer service and at the point the food was just not tasting well.... so we got up leaving most of the food and paid our bill... I have a video i recorded of how dirty it was and i will be sharing it and posting it every where. WILL NEVER GO BACK...
