This was the first meal and the best meal I had when I came to visit Colorado for 2 weeks! I was surprised to be able to find such amazing and authentic Indian cuisine. Some items my friend and I ordered were Garlic Naan, Chicken Vindaloo, Palak Paneer, Veggies Biriyani and two Chai. The garlic naan was a mix of soft, crispy and full of garlic flavor. If you're not a fan of eating rice with your curries, I would recommend getting the garlic naan. It was heavenly especially the crispy part which is tough to get right. The other surprise was the chai. I could really taste the strong flavor and spices, especially the cardamom. It reminded me of the chai I would get on random streets in India. It's strong in flavor and the staff brew it fresh every hour (I was told). Cannot go wrong with trying this. For the dishes, I would say my favorite would be the chicken vindaloo because the tomato and spicy level hits the spot. The chicken was cooked well enough that it's still juicy and soft. The restaurant does allow you to adjust the spice level and I asked for mild which was just right for me. The veggie biriyani is probably my second favorite simply because I love rice so there is some biased decisions here. There were plenty of veggies in the rice and flavored very well. It was not overwhelming even when I added some curry to it. The palak paneer was also a good dish. However, I felt the paneer lacked some flavor. Overall the spinach curry was very creamy and flavorful alone without the cheese. I cannot wait to be back later next month! The food here is amazing, tasty and the staff are super friendly, patient and always open to answering questions. We were never rushed and we were able to take our time. It was an incredibly positive experience. My only complaint is that I wish this place offered buffet style because I want to sample and try all the...

We came here for our first dinner for 2020 with the family. Location is right off the main road, ample parking in the lot. Lot of in and out foot traffic from Doordash or Grubhub. We were seated right away. We ordered the Chef special in appetizers which is a medley of Indian apps- Pakoras, 1 samosa and 1 momo. For the main course, we ordered 2 vegetarian dishes - Dal Makhani and Veg karahi; and 3 non-veg dishes- Tandoori chicken, butter chicken and chicken karahi. We got 2 regular and 2 garlic naans too. Also, ordered raita (yogurt delicacy), an extra order of papad. So far so good, eh. They have a spice scale of 1-5; 1 has no spice and 5 is throat closing, sweat-dripping-off-forehead spice.
Ok, my reasons for 3 stars. The exterior ad interior lighting needs work- its so dull and almost looks like its closed when looking at it from the main road. The tables and chairs and interior ambiance hasn't been touched since being taken over from Burger King- its so lackluster. I had to raise my hand to get the waiter to finally come over to take our initial order; and the place was not busy at all. The appetizers could get some spice in them, esp the pakoras. The main course was ok, nothing exciting with flavors. The spice level is kind of interesting. Spice level 1 is no spice; but #2 has quite a bit of spice and 3 is definitely on the edge of moderate-high. I'd recommend to go with a level 1-2. Another interesting observation as seen in my photo below- the men's bathroom toilet stall is just off the main door. So, if I were to stand there, I'd be in full view of the dining hall if someone decided to...
Read moreI was lamenting to my husband about how devastated I was to hear my childhood favorite Indian restaurant back home had closed. "The food here just isn't the same," I said, choking back tears. My valiant knight became determined to come to my taste buds' rescue, and he did so when he said "Babe, it's an hour away but... check this place out." I skeptically looked at the menu, and within minutes decided we should go immediately. It was snowing out, so we had to wait until the next day.
Which brings me to today, one of the best days of 2022 yet. And a sign of good days to come! An amazing, tasteful, delicious Indian restaurant in Littleon to answer my prayers. The food here is astounding, and definitely reminds me of the meals I ate prepared by Indian households when I lived in New Jersey. We devoured the perfectly spiced and ever so comforting dal makhani, a popular North Indian dish made of slow cooked black lentils, kidney beans and a touch of decadent cream. We also had the Punjabi classic, Chana masala. They have taken their time creating the perfect masala for this dish, as it is traditional, homestyle and fantastic. Channa masala is a chickpea curry served in a comforting, spiced tomato sauce. This one is amazing! My husband enjoyed the garlic Naan (flatbread), and we both were impressed and delighted by the vegetable pakora (chickpea battered vegetable appetizer). Their chutneys were also delicious, and their Achar (spicy Indian mango pickle) tasted much better than the canned one I'm accustomed to buying! Amazing food all around, quickly prepared, and kind service. Can't...
