Bar Tatami — Restaurant in Livermore

I had a great late-night experience at Bar Tatami in Livermore! I ordered the Tatami Burger with a side salad, and both were excellent—fresh, flavorful, and really hit the spot. The burger was juicy and well-seasoned, and the salad was crisp with a nice balance of greens and dressing.

What really stood out, though, was the fantastic service from Bobby the bartender. He was friendly, attentive, and genuinely made the experience even better. It’s not often you find that kind of hospitality, especially late in the evening.

Went in with a co-worker after hearing gleaming reviews of the Tatami Burger. Was greeted by a very rude and inattentive bartender who forced us to order drinks, (we just wanted food.) To then proceed to do anything but make our ordered drinks. (I ordered a beer, not that hard to pop a cap.) Bar Tatami is fantastic. The food is delicious. The crew is inviting. The prices are unbeatable. I discovered the flavor-packed and filling $14 salmon entree (now $15 yay inflation) during my lunch break and never looked back. I got one coworker hooked with that dish and another one today with the fried chicken sandwich special. I could go on and on.
