AHE is the school for you!!
If youāre serious about becoming an EMT, in an accelerated or weekend format...GO TO American Health Education!!!
I was changing careers and didnāt have the time to invest in the surrounding community college EMT programs. Between school specific pre-reqs and the programs themselves, I was looking at 18-24 months of classes, before becoming certified to take the NREMT battery of tests.
I completed AHE in 5 weeks and passed both my NREMT psychomotor skills and cognitive tests on my first attempts!!
From my first call to completing the course, I was continuously impressed and reassured by AHEās program, content, professionalism and singular focus on my success.
AHEās people and student driven culture aligned perfectly with my needs and wants in a classroom and future career environment. I never felt like a number! I always felt like a valued and fully supported member of the AHE team and family.
That first call I mentionedā¦was fielded by Eloina D. Sheās as good as they get! I stated that I was interested in the AHE EMT Program and Eloina took over. She went through the entire program start to finish, top to bottom. She was so thorough that I actually couldnāt think of any questions to ask, when she was done giving me the detailed overview of AHEās EMT program, I just grabbed my debit card to provide my deposit, in order to reserve my spot. Seriously!! Thank you Eloina!!
It didnāt end there. It wasnāt like, āthanks for your deposit, see you in class!ā. I received follow-up emails with next steps, necessary docs and verifications I needed to provide.
Timeline and helpful hint emails were also forthcoming and welcomed. For instance, anatomy and biology books that would be helpful to studyā¦I ordered, and did go through themā¦which was a huge help!
Once class started, it was āgo timeā!
Program director, Christopher Seymour, is āTHE MANā!! On our first day he hosted, welcomed our class and introduced us to the program. Every single thing he spoke to, holds water! He is a true professional with a tremendous amount of EMS knowledge and worldly background!! To top it offā¦he couldnāt be a more humble, kind or caring individual. Heās the real deal people and he has my utmost respect.
Special thanks and respect to day-to-day operations and boots on the ground Nicole, Yvette and Gabriel!!! The three of them keep you on track and your day to day running smoothly.
They are there, present, on top of it, supporting and encouraging you and providing anything you need to be successful!! Truly awesome and committed to your success!!! If not for their commitment to my successā¦I wouldnāt have made it through!
AHE is the EMT program for you. Five week accelerated Monday-Thursday or ten week weekends. Either programā¦thereās no other choice, that will serve your goals better!!
I am a proud EMT. I am employed with an equally awesome ambulance company, based in Livermore, CA.
Iām planning on Paramedic school in late 2022.
I have AHE and all their staff to thank!!
I look forward to seeing you in the field and Iāll feel instantly better and more confident in your knowledge, abilities and commitment to our line of work, if you tell me youāre an AHE...

Teachers all care deeply about what they're teaching you and want to ensure you know what you are doing before they send you out. Kevin was a 10/10 instructor, and I feel super confident is all the skills I've gained. My sister also went through this program pre covid and said it was incredible, her praise was the reason I went here, and all the more reason...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to this location to get my EMT skills verification. Facility is like new located in a nice area. There is ample parking and the facility is super clean. They have an EMT program which I hear is pretty good. The skills instructors know their stuff and are really laid back when it comes to testing. Itās more of a lesson than a test. I will be returning in two...
