We chose the Courtyard Livermore for four days over the July 4 weekend as a home base during a large family reunion over July 4 holidays. Unfortunately, due to a large wedding party onsite, we were told there were no upgrades available, bar an only SLIGHTLY larger room with balcony, due to space constraints (which we declined as we had settled in, and this was only provided to us on day 2). I understand capacity is sometimes beyond the hotel’s control, but it was disappointing nonetheless to stay in a small (250sqft?) room for four nights with a family of four when we are Marriott Gold Elite members and have been lucky to be upgraded most other times. This 4-night stretch is also the longest hotel stay of a 26day massive west coast road trip, so to be in a small room was a real bummer.||The hotel facilities are ok. No complimentary breakfast was served (like at the Residence Inn or Hampton Inn nearby), and the laundry facility only had two coin operated ($3/per use)machines, one washer and dryer! That was fairly inconvenient as three other hotels we’ve visited on this trip have had multiple machines for use. The front desk did, however, provide complimentary detergents and drying sheets. Unlike other nearby hotels, there was also no pool.||Overall, it was close to the location we visited but other than that, not much else to recommend it. Having stayed at other (much better) Marriott owned properties on this same trip, I can only rate this property...
Read moreMy husband and I booked our wedding room block here and had over 100 guests who booked a room. Our main point of contact all year was Nicole. She was amazing! She was friendly, really easy to get a hold of, patient, and was quick to answer all my emails whenever any questions or updates came up (I sent her a lot of emails!!!). It was also really helpful to get updated booking lists so we could keep track of our guests. Nicole and the team were all on the same page when it came to logistics. There were a couple other wedding parties at the hotel the weekend of our wedding, yet they were able to organize everyone’s welcome bags, store some of our decor and bags of snacks for our after-party, and communicate the correct wedding shuttle departure times to our guests during check-in. Nothing was missed. We also reserved the banquet room for Sunday brunch the morning after our wedding. The hot breakfast was a hit. Everyone loved the food! If you are getting married in the area and are in need of a room block, I highly recommend the Courtyard Livermore. They are extremely organized and very accommodating. They are truly pros when it comes...
