A Hidden Gem of Indian Cuisine!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting at the Little India in Livermore, and it was nothing short of spectacular and shocked for me. From the moment I stepped in, I have seen my favorite old Chef and the new owner of Little India Mr. Raj Singh, who used to work in a restaurant in Fremont back in 2013 where I used to go weekly to dine in just because of his Punjabi Style food. After talking to him just found out that now he is the owner of the Little India feels me very lucky to have the same taste again after almost 10 years.

The menu is a perfect blend of traditional Indian favorites and unique dishes that showcase the chef’s creativity. I couldn’t resist starting with the paneer tikka, which was grilled to perfection with just the right amount of spice. The highlight of my meal was the Paneer Bhurji which was not in Menu still Chef made it specially as per my request which was very authentic and simply divine. Paired with their freshly baked garlic naan, it was an absolute delight.

The service was impeccable throughout the evening. The staff were not only friendly but also knowledgeable, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring that every need was met with a smile.

To top off the evening, I indulged in their homemade gulab jamun, which was the perfect sweet ending to a perfect meal.

Whether you’re a fan of Indian cuisine or specially and Punjabi food lover then Little India an absolute must-visit because the owner itself used to be a Punjabi chef at one point of the time and knows exactly what Bay Area customers need it. Food, Service, and Atmosphere: From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by the friendly and courteous owner, Raj. He checked in with us several times throughout the evening to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. The servers were also incredibly attentive, proactive in asking if we needed anything, and always on their toes, ready to assist us. Authentic and Flavorful Cuisine: The food at Little India was fresh, authentic, and bursting with flavor. It truly reminded me of the real taste of India. We ordered the chicken seekh kabab, malai soya chaap, and butter chicken. Each dish was exceptional, but the chicken seekh kabab stole the show. It was mildly spiced, full of flavors, and delightfully moist. Special Touches: One of the highlights of our visit was the thoughtful gesture from the owner. I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this Indian restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting ambiance set the tone for a great evening.
