Cons:
Parking is really difficult here. It's a tiny little lot and you may have to do a lap or two before finding a space.
THERE ARE ZERO OUTLETS!!? This is something that needs to be called out and emphasized when people are saying it's good for working. It's not just good for working across the board. For me, it didn't meet the need at all.
I wfh and was looking to get out of the house. I read a bunch of reviews before coming from Dublin and was so excited to come here and taste the yummy and unique-sounding coffee drinks and be super productive, but I need my laptop to do EVERYTHING, and it's a company-issued monster of a thing. Definitely forever low on battery life and needs to be plugged in all the time.
So be advised that if you can relate to that, this is not the one for you. If you have a high efficiency situation or you're mostly doing reading/book work, probably amazing! But you will be disappointed if you need electricity. :/
Pros:
Very cute!
Didn't stay for the coffee but it did smell amazing!
Overall:
Probably nice if you're just passing thru. It definitely seems more like it's set up to be a pop-in-and-keep-it-pushing place than somewhere to linger for long. But the beverages looked like they'd...
Read moreI have yet to try this place. My friend and I walked in yesterday after eating in the restraunt next door to try it out. We both had never been there or even looked it up, we only knew about it because of social media and local chatter. That being said, when we walked in we were unaware that the place had already closed at 4pm. It was 5:30 when we walked in. As soon as we did, the little girls paused what they were doing and stopped and stared at us like we were stupid for having walked in to a place of business with an unlocked door and as if we were supposed to know the time they closed as well. After staring at us for a long while, still in that very disapproving way, they asked if we needed help. We said we were just going to look around and instead of an apology for the confusion and dirty looks, one of the little girls said, "ummm, we actually close at four". As much as I love coffee, I have yet to ever try this business and already feel very unwelcomed. Not sure if I'll be going back to try it anytime soon, and...
Read more🚨 BEWARE: STORY COFFEE IGNORES ONLINE ORDERS! 🚨
I placed an online order and arrived at 7:02 a.m. on 2/26/25, expecting a smooth pickup. Instead, I waited exactly 24 minutes for just two lattes, while multiple customers who ordered at the counter received their drinks within five minutes or less.
This was my first visit, and I am highly disappointed. The lack of customer service and attention to online orders is insane. I understand that mornings can be busy, but there was no visible rush when I arrived. On top of that, my coffee wasn’t even filled to the top, which makes me feel completely scammed.
It’s clear that regulars get prioritized, which is frustrating for anyone who isn’t a Livermore resident or frequent customer. If you’re new here, be prepared—and consider yourself warned. I will not be...
