I love the press’s oatmeal, especially the seasonal ones.

However, I have had more negative than positive experiences. I walked in 3 minutes after opening once and the staff plus manager seemed very upset because they weren’t ready. So I walked back to my car, waited a few minutes (this point 5-8 minutes after they should be open) and walked back in to buy a gift card. The staff and manager were very unfriendly, stoic as they rang me up exchanging annoyed glances between another. I’m not sure if they were upset that I didn’t order food and drinks as well or because I came in so soon after their opening hours. I was very introverted at the time and in highschool so this scared me away from the location for a bit. This was years ago so I’m not sure if the manager has changed.

I went another time about a year or so after this experience for a brunch date with my mom. Ordered their avocado toast, which I guess wasn’t in season because the avocado was ROCK solid. I’m talking using my molars to bite it and instead of mushing it broke down into smaller pieces. Had to throw it out after my teeth began to ache. I didn’t know avocado could be so hard, let alone that it would be served like that.

I tried their mochas a couple of times and every time they tasted different. However, their seasonal pear oatmeal had been consistent in my experience. It’s very rich and has so many flavors. This is one item I strongly recommend.

I’ve never wrote a review below 5 stars and feel guilty about it but I’m hoping the staff takes this as genuine constructive feedback. I look forward to seeing how they grow...

The Press in Livermore is a bustling brunch spot that hits the sweet spot between quality food, good vibes, and efficient service. Despite the long line at the entrance, the staff kept things moving quickly and we were inside and placing our order faster than expected.

The ordering system is mostly self-service, guests order at the counter and grab a number which adds to the efficiency and lets you find your preferred seat right away. Both the indoor and outdoor seating areas are bright, airy, and inviting. The interior has a modern, clean look with a relaxed café vibe, while the outdoor area is great for soaking in the Livermore sunshine.

The food was fresh and flavorful. The biscuit sandwich with egg and sausage was hearty and satisfying, and the Warm Honey Milk Toast was a standout with sweet berries, floral accents, and a perfect scoop of cream. Pairing it with a latte rounded off a fantastic morning meal. The menu offers a nice variety from savory to sweet, with seasonal specials and thoughtful options for different tastes.

Service was smooth, and the staff stayed upbeat and attentive, even with a packed house. The pastry display was also tempting, and the Coffee Nutella Bread Pudding is now on my list for next time.

Overall, The Press is a must-visit if you’re in downtown Livermore looking for a vibrant brunch experience with great coffee and food that delivers. Get there early it’s popular...

Great place to get some breakfast and coffee or lunch. Downtown location in Livermore is very nice. Located a couple doors down from the Livermore Movie Theater. It's not a big location just like their Pleasanton location. It's not as cozy as Pleasanton but offers a clean modern look. Because of the hard surfaces and small area it's very loud in there. Not the best place for an intimate conversation. They offer great coffee sources from Chromatic Coffee Co. Great tasting espresso based drinks and love their cold brew. Breakfast is amazing. They have popular trendy items like avocado toast that is topped with a hard boiled egg very good. Also the curdled egg on grits is amazing. Tasty and simple. They have specials that are seasonal. Everyone I have tried has been really great. Also offer brunch menu on Saturday and Sunday. I had the French toast and it was some of the best I have had. They offer sandwiches for lunch served with a side salad. Good deal and great quality ingredients. It's usually crowded and a very busy spot. They have a bit of outside seating but not a ton. Make sure to not mind a little bit of a crowded meal not a ton of room. ...

This place truly deserves the stars and would highly recommend to all, who are in the area. Starting from great, caring service, location and most importantly - food quality. Make sure you get in here first thing in the morning before opening, otherwise the line is way out throughout the lunch time. Coffee served is dark roast, so a bit bitter and that was an only con in the whole experience, however free refills that you’ve got to get yourself and served to-go cup before we left pleasantly surprised. Food wise you’ve got to try to believe! Ordered two sandwiches with ham & pineapple and pear & turkey, coconut chia pudding and some baked deliciousness to top it all off. Well, bakery had to go home cause we could not stop eating the proteins. And yes, please try the tomato soup! It’s a must on the chill, Sunday morning. Inside seating has some space, however outside is more fun and pleasant. Service wise - you are very carried for impression. I really did enjoyed our time and will definitely be back for more pleasant experience of healthy, nutritious meals.

Update 02/03/2023 It was a sandwich kind of the day for me so of course I ordered The Turkey Avocado with a side of Butternut Squash Soup from The Press. The sandwich was on a fresh Ciabatta bread with lots of turkey, avocado and of course provolone with a pesto aioli. It was delicious. I enjoyed the Butternut squash soup but was a bit on the sweet side for me but still delicious. I like this place and certainly will eat here again. See pics Absolutely one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. Tried this place which is around the corner from my office for the first time. I ordered the Turkey and Cranberry. The sandwich was two layers and came with a fresh and beautiful salad. Tasted wonderful and it was a good value for the buck. Will certainly go back.
