1 month ago: After a few so-so recent dining experiences, sadly this restaurant is off my rotation. Rough because my kids likes it. But the way items are prepared is severely lacking in flavor and the way they're cooked makes alot of it inedible. It's also noticeable to regulars that your menu offerings have been down-graded. Overdone chunks of hard chicken in a salty thick Marsala sauce over undercooked risotto no thanks! And pizza with such a large crust that the ingredients are only placed on the very middle of the dough and the rest is naked, why?? The only good dish was a greek salad. Server was new and didn't know how to wait tables properly, also couldn't answer questions and wouldn't ask another for us, terribly sloooow service all around. I ordered tiramisu and it never came. :(
6 years ago: Great for a busy work week dinner-date night! These dishes are my tests of whether a restaurant is fit enough to call itself Italian, and I give them a two thumbs up 😊: margherita pizza was simply flavorful - cheesy, saucy and satisfying, with a very nice crust- similar to the "plain cheese pie" that I'm used to back in North Jersey. I had placed a catering order of a small tray of Fusilli Contadina. I placed the order on a Friday evening to pick up for Sunday lunch. And paid IN FULL.
At the time of order pick up the cashier said that I have to pay the bill. I had the bill receipt with me; handed it to him and told him I had already paid. He didn't care to look into the receipt and went on to charge my credit card for a second time. (they had already STORED my credit card information!!!!)
Only when I insisted that I will take the order if he reverted did he even look into the receipt. Then went to talk with his manager (Amber?). After a while he returned and said that she agreed to the mistake. And that I was not at fault!!! :) "It was a communication gap!!!" I agree. On two counts. 1) internal communication 2) listening to the customer
I didn't get a second paid receipt; nor a cancellation receipt.
Now, after a week, that charge is still pending with my credit card company.

We ordered delivery, had heard great things about Melos..and the menu is very enticing. But nothing was good. We basically threw it all away. Extremely bland, tasteless food. I dont think they believe in seasoning...I know Livermore is Livermore, and there is like 0 culture here, but my goodness, would some salt, pepper and garlic hurt?? I think not.
We ordered a pizza with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, olives and bell pepper. It was eh...sauce was bland but overpowered flavor from toppings, too much maybe? Also, got a very pricey salad and the dressing was gross; we also got fettuccine alfredo with chicken and the gnocchi which both came with "garlic" bread. The Alfredo was basically reduced milk...no parmesean, no garlic, no salt, no pepper, I doubt they even used butter..and the bread which claimed to be garlic bread had 0 garlic on it at all. Also, lastly we got the pancetta wrapped prawns which were also bland and overcooked.
