Review Updated Dec 2024, still 1 star with more to say. Your employees kick ass every time I go in but they can't do anything about the quality of what they're handing out because it's premade. I bought a bowl with chow mein and string beans chicken (still trying to find anything worth eating as an entree). I picked around all the cabbage that was in the chow mein, got all the string beans, chicken, and noodles, and was left with a literal half full bowl of nasty ass cabbage... Panda corporate, please get your shit together and stop manufacturing your premade stuff with 70% filler. I HATE the cabbage and would do just about anything to have y'all be able to make it without it. Your corporate team gouging every last penny to bring your shareholders profits by lowering the quality of your product. I'm frankly to the point where if my husband gets something, I'd rather have nothing from Panda, and it used to be my number 2 comfort food. I hate that I don't even get to see your awesome employees in the store anymore who used to take such good care of me. 5/5 all day everyday for the people working in the store, food quality is 0/5.
Updated review: 1 star. Nothing wrong with staff or cleanliness, but I was teased with Sweet Fire chicken after ages of asking and begging for it. Im a barista so I don't make very much money to splurge on Panda Express often but I work close by, so when I could come in on my lunch break and the people behind the counter saw me and knew to drop the SweetFire chicken, I was really enjoying patronizing the store. Now I have zero reason to come here and am very upset with the removal of it from the menu. I'm autistic and this was one of my comfortable safe foods and nothing y'all have is remotely anywhere near as good or satisfying.
old review: 3 stars I usually love Panda Express but every time I come here (this location specifically since I moved here) the chow mein has been lackluster and has a lot of cabbage compared to what I'm used to at other locations, and I'm sorely missing Sweet Fire chicken which has apparently never been available here (that's what I was told when I asked for it). Honey walnut shrimp is okay, I've been getting that instead bc I don't like anything else...
Read moreI was skeptical, but we tried it a few months ago and really liked it, and have eaten there a lot since then and would have gladly given 5 stars. Lately however, things have gone downhill fast. I don't know if they have a different manager or what, but the quality isn't the same. The last several times we've been, the food was lukewarm and looked like it had been sitting there for hours, even though the place had only been open about an hour. They either get orders wrong or are substituting items without asking. My wife asks for super greens EVERY TIME and gets chow mein instead about half the time. Also, some dishes are made in woks that clearly hadn't been washed after whatever they were used or for last, so some things end up tasting like something that wasn't ordered. Seriously, if my wife wanted orange chicken with chow mein, she would have ordered that instead of whatever it is she does order with super greens. One last thing.. I don't like being asked if I want to donate to something in the drive thru line. If you want to put an 800 number on the receipt, great, but asking through the drive thru is extremely off putting. We're very disappointed. The only other Chinese place in town is total dog food. We had high hopes for panda but we're giving it a rest for a while and see if they don't clean...
Read moreWent to panda today in livingston. Will not go back and will let all my coworkers and friends know. I know they are new to open but come on treat everyone the same. The Lady ( Of Color) was VERY RUDE. The person in front of us was not sure what to order so she rolled her eyes and looked at us and said come. The Lady started to take our order my husband said she was first. She then said she dont know what she wants. I just thought it was rude. Then I wanted Low main she said they are making it and it was going to be a while because the cook and other staff are slow. So we took the rice. The other lady (White lady ) asked us if we wanted egg rolls we told her yes and then the other lady (of color)came to the Lady getting our egg rolls and told her to move very rude like and then out of no where the Lady of color told the Lady (other worker) she needed to pray to god to fix her eyes.. Not sure where that came from but the white lady did not say anything and walked away. I am not sure why Panda would have rude people working there but I give it to the white lady ( wish I could remember her name) because I would have went off on that rude lady I will be contacting the cooperate office...
