I usually have a nice experience here but there were several incidences that made me quite irritated and I've finally connected the dots; it's only when the men are working I have issues!
When the women are working, which is most days, they are so friendly and kind, they recognize me, they do things efficiently. But the times I've had a problem, it was men at the window or many working.
Examples include REPEATEDLY pretending to think I ordered a size larger than I actually did, and charging me for it (this happened 3 separate times before I finally had enough and made them redo my drink, because I wasn't going to be conned into buying a larger drink again and just let it go). I even heard them repeat my drink size back at me in drive-thru and they still tried to make me and sell me a larger size. That was annoying.
They've also tried giving me lattes instead of macchiatos when I order macchiatos. This has happened several times too and I'm not standing for it next time. I know the difference, and it's a bit disappointing to taste so much milk during the days I ordered a macchiato for a reason. Plus, I get CHARGED the price of a macchiato, which is more.
So overall, this place is nice. But don't stand for these unusual up-charging "mistakes" and make sure you make them do it correctly; once in a blue moon is understandable, but this happens enough times to warrant putting your foot down. I ordered a few coffees a donut for my kid and a couple bagels after the rude cashier (Indian man with a very mean attitude) gave us the separate bag with my sons donut he asked to see the bag to make sure that he didn’t give us 2 after handing it to us in the drive thru. After looking and seeing 1 donut I told him there’s only 1 here and he demanded I hand him my bag back. Then this man puts his hand in the bag WITHOUT A GLOVE and picked up the donut after taking my money and wiping his for head! NO! Not acceptable! Absolutely WRONG! He didn’t apologize for making the mistake or for accusing me of lying. He was rude and very unprofessional not to mention extremely impatient. The worst customer service I’ve ever had hands down! He had a nasty attitude from the beginning as if he was not interested in doing his job. I have never written a bad review to a restaurant before but I was just so disgusted by this mans behavior I had to do something. Read moreI come here almost daily, but have had issues DAILY for weeks. I tried to give it time to be fixed but at this point theyre just taking peoples money and telling them to get over it. They NEVER make my drink correctly and they always burn the food. If I ask more matcha it's just milk and ice. Even when I ask for extra coffee or matcha it comes out tasting like milk and ice. The matcha comes out almost white. If I ask for it to be remade because it's nasty they just give me the same drink again. They take off the lid swirl it and give it back. It's the EXACT same color. If you say you didn't remake it the manager proceeds to do the same thing. They don't even try to fake like they remake it which is a health hazard and I'll be reporting them to the health department. They barely speak English and they're rude. If you can't make a drink why do you work at a dunkin? If it's too much to ask that you make a $6 drink taste how it's supposed to, why are you in business? In this economy? I wouldn't go here.
