Had dinner with my wife tonight at Fattoush Village and was really impressed. I grew up near Dearborn and have eaten Middle Eastern food my entire life. We ordered the Lamb Swarma DINNER and the Chicken Swarma DINNER with Fattoush and Hummus. I was nervous to order lamb but it was really good. The swarma is basically shaved lamb and the chicken is more like lean all white chicken strips. Both had really good seasoning and were not drowning in oils. You could tell that each meat had it's own seasoning preventing them from tasting the same. Portions of meat were good but not excessive large. Fattoush was not large but was really tasty with tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, and of course cracked pita bread. I will go back for just the Fattoush and add chicken to make it a meal. The hommus was also good. You could tell it was fresh but not too fresh. If you know hommus you know it needs a few hours (or more) for the garlic to settle in. There was only a few others in the restaurant and food came quick. The waitress was really nice and was explaining to us the difference in the meal names and there preparation. We already knew this but though it was nice of her to explain. For the building... nothing fancy, located in a strip mall type area, that was clean but definitely a casual place. I heard they have great lunch specials but have not been. This is one of the 2 middle eastern restaurants in the Livonia\Westland\canton area I...
Read moreMy visit to Fattoush Village was on a Saturday afternoon. I am not an expert on Middle Eastern/Lebanese food but the Lamb Swarma here is the best I have had so far. Most places stick with beef or chicken although some do offer lamb. The meat was flavorful and spiced just right. The veggies were crisp, the pita was the perfect thickness, garlic sauce just enough to flavor but not hide the individual ingredients and flawlessly grilled. A practically perfect execution of a simple but tasty wrap. The lentil soup was also quite tasty with a great combination of mashed & whole lentils.
Atmosphere Fattoush Village is located on 31205 Plymouth Road in Livionia Michigan. The inside is nicely decorated. I loved the various jars of preserved vegetables adorning the window. The waitress was very friendly and made me feel like an old friend. Fairly quiet during my visit as there was only a few other patrons at the time.

Read moreWell....2nd time here....and I did bring my mom here after Lent. I like it when my reviews are answered....and this time I brought my immediate family with me. The hospitality we received from the staff was heartwarming. They re-made a sandwich for my mother....after we told them she was happy with the sandwich. That tells you right there tells you the people there care about their customers.
They've been around for almost 20 years. The food was awesome. The owner even gave us Baklava to try....Support this place because these personal friendly places are disappearing quick.
