Please read** from a former employee: If you are wondering why this location has terrible wait times and service (especially on nights) I can help you understand. First off as an employee who’s recently worked at this location I want to thankyou to anyone who said my service was excellent I really appreciate that and I had over a dozen people tell me this in the three weeks I was employed. The night managers that work are incredibly slow as they smoke weed in the bathrooms and are on their phone. Just so the community is aware they use their phones while they make your food (and no they do not change gloves while using the phone) they also use the phone in the bathrooms while they smoke weed. The managers on nights are short staffed because they cannot be decent people to new hires. I have a terrible issue with skin eczema, the only accommodation I asked for was to no aggravate my condition by washing dishes all night. They tried forcing me too, I did one night and came home with a rash that subsided the next day I had off after using expensive lotion cream. I’m all for hard work but forcibly putting your employees in pain is in my opinion illegal. I am currently looking into legal action for wrongful termination. On another note anyone who orders late night after the store is closed must understand that safety is not followed. We remove our pan lids on our hot line (which makes the temperature unsafe) they literally put the food in thin plastic bags and put it right back into clean pans and on the hot line. Your food contains plastics I almost guarantee. At the end of the night when you are supposed to give an ice bath to the bags of hot food left over to cool it properly to avoid bacteria growing they instead just put it in water with no ice. Just so you know they use that the next day when lunch opens, so if anyone got sick during the day time when they first open you may want to also report them to the health department like I plan to. Anyways there’s more but I can only write so much. If this doesn’t scare you then by all means keep coming to this location. I’m done with ever supporting tacobell again. As a former employee three times now with the company only one location actually followed proper safety and that was the Rochester hills location 12 years ago when I was 19. Things have changed and company standards have gone in the toilet 🚽. Like that roach they be smokin in...
Read moreOmg, this place has the worse service ever!! A week ago we went thru the drive thru. Waited forever with only 2 cars ahead of us then when we got up to the speaker, we waited a few minutes before anyone took our order and in the middle of ordering, I was cut off and told 'hang on a minute' then when the guy came back on the speaker he asked me if I was done ordering, 'I was like no. I was in the middle of ordering chips and cheese when you said hang on'. after we got our food, I checked it before pulling out of the parking lot and noticed that the crunch wrap from the #9 meal was missing so I parked and attempted to go in but the doors were locked, in the middle of the day!! I knocked on the glass and the drive thru guy pointed for me to get back in the drive thru line but I shook my head no, there was no way I was waiting in that line again to have them fix our food, so another lady came and opened the door. There were ppl inside eating so who knows why the doors were locked! This morning when I was there, I went thru the drive thru again, this time with no line at all, and ordered a breakfast crunch wrap then pulled up to the window. After paying I was asked to pull up behind 2 other cars waiting for their drive-thru orders. Within a minute of me parking, a worker brought orders out to the two other cars and they pulled away so I pulled up. I waited there for 10 minutes, watching other people who had gone through the drive-thru get their food and leave, before I finally got out of my car and went inside. When I walked up to the counter and spoke with the drive-thru lady, I said 'I've been waiting for 10 minutes for my crunch wrap and I've seen other people go through the drive-thru during that time. Where is my food?' She replied with, 'I'm not the manager' and then pointed at a lady making the food. That lady proceeded to ask me what I ordered and finally made my food so I could leave! Idk what's going on with that place... I never used to have these problems with...
Read moreHonestly awful experience. Ordered online through the app for in store pickup because we had multiple people doing separate orders, and Taco Bell hasn't allowed people to do that since the pandemic started. So we pull up, and the doors are locked and we're told to ho through the drive thru. Whatever, not a huge deal.
Get to the speaker, let them know thre names for thre orders, everything seemed fine. Get to the window where they finally tell us that the drink machine is down. Okay, why did neither thre app, nor you at the speaker tell us that? Any other food app I've used lets you know when items aren't available, and it shouldn't have let us do an in store pick up if that was also unavailable.
So we ask them if we could just substitute a frozen drink instead, apparently that's down too. At this point the girl at the window goes "water will do", incredibly snarky. At this point I just ask if I can refund the order, as I've had it with thre incompetence and the rudeness, and would rather take my business somewhere else. I'm then told by the manager "well it's out of my hands, so tough luck. Best you can do is try and cancel it on the app". So we pull away and start trying to do that, as thre order is still marked incomplete. About halfway through canceling, the app gives me an error and I have to refresh it, and now thre order is marked complete and I can't refund it. So not only are the staff at this location rude, but they're also completely unprofessional. Tell me to try doing this then activity work against me doing that. Never going to this...
