Well I enjoyed another wonderful meal at Lake Point while watching the Michigan game. So I feel it's necessary, that I STRONGLY recommend to everyone, to try their Ribeye French Dip Sandwich with Fries. It's ABSOLUTELY Amazing. I also have to recommend the Awesome Cajun Rub Hot Wings that I tried after the encouragement of my Wonderful waitress Samantha (she prefers Sam). I've also enjoyed the Hot Dogs and Coney Dogs as well. I thought their Tacos were Ok but I would suggest that they add some taco seasoning to the meat itself as they were rather bland. This is definitely a great place to catch a quick bite to eat while enjoying the games on TV. I enjoy its rustic "Up-North" look and friendly staff.

My best friend took me to Lake Point for my very first time and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The girls were very friendly and responsive and the beverages were ice cold. I had just eaten shortly before coming here so all my friend and I had were some French Fries that I found to be very good. One of the few remaining bars that is open late with a kitchen that is too! There is a late-night menu, but there is still plenty to choose from.
Lake Pointe Yacht Club is a bikini bar so be prepared to see more of the wait staff than you will at other places. The kitchen is excellent. I've always been happy when I ordered wings, burgers, pizza's and other appetizers.
I order beer, so that's difficult to get wrong. My wife orders mixed drinks and she always enjoys what they serve her.
My wife ordered chicken fingers. They were juicy and tender, with a nice flavor to the breading. The fries crispy as they should be.
I ordered two baskets of chicken wings; one buffalo spice and the other in honey barbecue. Each basket had a full pound of wings! Both were tasty, but I preferred the Honey BBQ.

In my 20's this was one o f my many hangouts. Now, I'm in my 60's, and (due to the pandemic, they removed some tables to comply with social distancing health directions), the place is still a happening place! Two friends and I had dinner there. Two of us enjoyed a Friday Special called Caribbean Walleye. The fish was cooked to perfection, salads were a full platter (almost a meal in themselves), and one of the group had a beer burger and he was surprised at the thickness of the burger. Drinks and food were moderately priced, served by a gal in a bikini, in a setting with a great view of Newburgh Lake which was active with ducks, geese and swans moving about at feeding time.
