We have been to L&L probably 6-8 times in the past. The first few times, the food and drinks were great and we had quality service. The last couple times we have noticed a severe decline in service. Today was the last time we will visit. We sat down, ordered our food and waters and then our server did not return until our pizza was delivered. I would have ordered a drink from the bar had she come back prior but by the time she brought the pizza we just wanted to eat and go. We spent the entire cook time watching the dozen employees have quite the party around the bar counter. We realized that we were one of maybe two paying parties in the restaurant and it definitely seemed like noone could be bothered to deal with us. When the pizza came, our save the brock (meat pizza) was half burned, and had exactly TWO pieces of sausage. There was also next to no sauce on the pizza. Again our server was too busy to be bothered with us... this time she was changing from her shoe to her walking boot in the middle of the dining room. We ate two pieces of our pizza and requested the check and a to-go box, as our annoyance and disgust over the walking boot were growing. Our server brought us a small pizza box and said, will this work? This was almost an entire pizza, I told her we would need a larger box. We left, my husband left more of a tip than I feel was warranted for the service and quality of the food. We will...
Read moreI found myself in a censorship situation at this restaurant tonight. I was at the bar with my wife and my friend. After we were there ordering food to go, no one else was in there until 10 minutes before we left, 2 other people came in so there was a total of 5 people in the restaurant , 2 others besides the 3 of us. We were not drinking and not loud, but myself, my wife and friend. We were talking about this country and all of a sudden the one employee a white male with a beard informed us we could not talk politics at the bar. I asked why and I could not get a good answer, like we were loud and obnoxious , which we were not. Remember only 2 other people in the restaurant. I told the employee no one is going to censor me, I am proud of this country and Trump and no one is going to tell me I cannot talk about it. If this is the kind of place that I cannot think for myself or have my own opinion then I don't need to do business in there. I think it is sad that we have so much of this going on in this country. I was not even talking to the employee and he will not tell me what I can talk about as long as I am not being loud and not disrupting business. I think that free speech is still legal in this country.i also had to give 1 star to put my post on here it does not matter in this situation how good r bad the food is it is rude to try and censor what someone is thinking r...
Read moreSometimes you learn more about a place when they get thrown a curve and have to react. Our recent visit might have resulted in a negative review, but when we saw the way our server (Trinity) handled things, and was so proactive, it completely turned things positive. A brief bit of context: our pizza was one of their regular features, so making it is a standard process. Unfortunately, they were experiencing a problem with their oven and it Ruined our pizza. Trinity came directly to us, apologized for the issue, and explained they were quickly making another. It really wasn’t a problem due to the amazing abundance of beer choices. About 20 minutes later, Trinity approached again with a concerned look on her face. She conveyed that -shockingly- the problem happened a second time. She apologized yet again and then took steps to remedy the whole thing much to our satisfaction. Trinity was phenomenal and her management staff either gave her the power to fix the problem or approved her solution and it showed us just how true their commitment was to customer satisfaction. I could talk about all the great things that happened during our visit, but I think sharing what went wrong -and how it was handled - will help you learn just how great they are. Trust me, they will take good care of you even if nothing goes...
