I post a lot of reviews. I don’t want to but I must. The plates on average are about 20 bucks. Not bad if the food is tasty. Don’t get me wrong, there are hundreds of restaurants opening daily to display delicious food. The first thing was unbeknown to me, there was no staff and the owner had a prior event. (No one available to serve) I called the restaurant to ask questions, ended up having to texting to say who I was before receiving a call back. So okay, long story short! The food is not good it was inedible. Cannot describe the taste other than….prison food. Wait! I actually ate the food the inmates fixed. Anyway 😖. I been to alot of places and alot of restaurants 🙅🏽♀️ maybe I got the wrong thing but what was recommended is what I got. I live in Union and always looking for fresh new spots to eat and don’t mind the pricing, long as food is great. Needless to say I was very disappointed with the taste of the food. Staff unavailable and no one answering the phone on purpose should have a clue to go elsewhere but I give everyone a try at anything….almost! She was very nice in saying she would give my husband a discount for his patience. He in fact went and waited an hour for the owner to show back up. He said so many people were coming and leaving again every body deserves a chance. I wasn’t looking for anything for free….even though he was an azzhole about it, a 1$ for the inconvenience?…noted. One thing! Before you start service make sure! Very sure no lies, that all staff agree on the taste of the food if one disagrees then you need to relook at that dish. 2 stars ⭐️...
Read moreSome of the best comfort food I’ve had! 3 Queens Q'uisine. I’m originally from SC, so I’m used to down home cooking on the regular. I’ve been out of state for some time and was visiting Locust, NC to see family. I wanted something that “felt like home” without going all the way home. This place definitely satisfied my tastebuds along with the hospitality. My only recommendation to anyone who eats here is to wait until you get home to eat if you can stand it, unless you don’t mind messy eating in your vehicle. The owner was hands down the sweetest person I've ever met!! I've eaten lots of food in a lot of places but never got anything worth writing about until now. The cabbage was my first taste, and my mouth was so happy, all the flavor!! I couldn't wait to try the Mac n cheese, and man, was it good? It was cheesy and delightful. The collard greens were some of the best I've ever had, and well seasoned. which made my husband's day!! The fried chicken was nice and juicy on the inside and crispy and crunchy on the outside like it's supposed to be, and the barbecue chicken MOUTH WATERING! The price was great and affordable for the amount of food too. This spot has the best food of any I've had in the area thus far, and I'm grateful for the previous reviewers as they were the reason we chose to eat here. Keep it up, y'all!!😋 10/10...
Read moreI am super happy that this restaurant is available in the area because of the lack of options and diversity, but I have a few critiques that could make the overall experience better:
The prices are expensive especially for the amount of food you're given. For just my food and my partner's + the small red velvet cake cup we ended up spending close to $60. The meatloaf is delicious, but the yams were a little undercooked and the macaroni was dry. The chicken my partner had lacked meat. It was crispy but thats just about it Lastly, the red velvet cake came in a little cup and was very dry also (plus the amount for the price took me back a little)
Those critiques aren't quite enough to stop me from trying it again because the service was great and the cashier was very friendly. I'd love to pop back in a see what's new in the...
