Me and my friends had an amazing time! We went to celebrate my bachelorette party. Everyone that was working was genuine, kind, and fun to be around! The bartender made amazing drinks, the atmosphere was perfect and the Dj played great music! I had brought a jacket and they didn’t have coat check but they held onto my jacket for me, I forgot it when I left and they kept it for me to grab the next day! We appreciated that the staff made it a priority that women and everyone felt safe they even walked us to our Uber at the end of the night because there was some drunk men who were being weird and very persistent outside. I have not eaten here before but I have enjoyed the nightlife before Covid. Now that the state is open the crowd has gotten more youthful and it gets packed around 1130pm. The dress code rules are posted outside. I came over dressed 2X fearing being turned away. For being a nightclub with a good DJ it was too relaxed on dress code. I think way too many people were standing on the dance floor versus dancing which made traffic issues and caused confrontations. Let's add the spilling drinks on people and the floor. I suggest a rope off area but I have to admit security was on top of everything for the most part which made the operation flow. It was my first time here and i am disappointed. All the cocktails/shots I got tasted like it had been cut with water. They didn’t even really smell like liquor was in the drink. Cocktails/shots were not made / poured where we would be able to see and I saw one of the bartenders put a clear liquid from the fountain hose (presumably water) into a drink that should not have had anything coming from the hose unless there’s a clear spirit in there but highly doubt it. I also witnessed the bartenders saying inappropriate things among themselves. Not to mentioned the unprofessionalism within the review section of this business. I may be considering filing a complaint to ABC regarding Blend’s quality control and alcohol...
