I dined in with a party of 4, and asked for split checks and was charged $5 per check, so it was a total of about $20 for simply “splitting the check”. But honestly, the fee wasn’t labeled as “split check fee” it was labeled as GRATUITY, not split check fee. Honestly, they forced the gratuity on us, labeling it as a split check fee. The reasoning for why I think this? My friends fee of “split check” (labeled as gratuity on the receipt) was $4 not the $5 that is said. And after doing some quick math, it so happened to be 20% of her food’s cost which what a coincidence, is the 20% gratuity that is recommended on parties of EIGHT or more and mind you we were a party of FOUR. After noticing that, we did the math on 20% of each of our dishes, and it was just under what the gratuity fee was. The food was so bland, and the pasta tasted as if if was boiled without any salt and there was no salt on the table so we had to ask for the salt and when the server gave it to us, she all but threw it at us without a word and walked away. Her overall demeanor was horrible, she would glare at us every time she walked past our table, and I honestly believe she walked past our table multiple times just to glare at us and we didn’t even say anything rude or disrespectful. Was there for girlfriends birthday dinner, the food was good and the restaurant was nice. However, towards the end of the meal our server stopped coming around and did not bring a couple drink orders after being asked multiple times which would be fine if the restaurant was busy but it was closer to the closing time so the restaurant was mostly empty. We also work in the restaurant business so we are very patient and understanding. The problem was when I got up to see where our server was, he was at the bar taking shots with a couple of girls sitting at the bar. I walked up asking for some boxes for our food he said no problem so I went back to the table. 15 minutes went by and still no boxes or check. So when another server walked by I asked for boxes again and he got them immediately. I again had to walk up to the bar where the server was to ask for the check which he finally printed out and brought to the table. After waiting 25 minutes to pay the bill, I again had to walk to the bar to pay the check. After being ignored for 5 minutes my server finally saw me and I was finally able to pay the check. Since we had a big party it was automatic gratuity. But due to the fact that our server was intoxicated and ruined her birthday dinner we would have chose to not leave anything at all. Were from out of town and went to another restaurant near by that didn’t really acknowledge us so we decided to come here instead and boy I’m so glad we did for my moms birthday! We first sat at the bar and were greeted by a bartender who has some serious skills, both in making drinks and being entertaining, his name was Anthony and he made a delicious blueberry lemon drop and dirty martini!

Our waitress was Kristen who was the absolute sweetest and gave us “barbie” soups to try. I mean just customer service, and attentiveness on an unbeatable level! We haven’t experienced service this good in a long while! Then there was Aiden our busier who came by with the most irresistible deserts you just can’t not pass up.

Overall we will definitely make our way back out to Lodi just to come back here. The environment is fun, lively and best of all the food and drinks were delicious and well priced. Didn’t even get a photo because it was that good! Anthony and Kristen even sang for my mom’s birthday and you can tell he’s got a theater voice! It was amazing!
