Moo Moo's Burger Barn — Restaurant in Lodi

Let me get this out of the way: The food was great for a diner. My family and I had the sampler, which had jalapeño poppers, mozzarella sticks, and onion rings. We also had a burger and milkshake. Yummy.

As far as the service, I left with mixed feelings as I experienced two separate service workers - one not-so-great and another that went above-and-beyond.

I'm not asking for enthusiastic bubbly personality, but for some really basic service. From the second I we sat down, "Are you ready?" to when we were ready to order drinks, "Are you ready to order [food]?" to 20 minutes into eating "Are you ready for the check? Do you need a box?" LOL. I love fast and quick, but I'd like to enjoy my family and lunch - especially on that day. LOL. So that was our main waiter.

Another eaiter not assigned to us was extremely tentative and may have used their cognitive and social abilities to perhaps observe and understand what was lacking. I don't know... but, that person was really nice and had initiative. The main waiter asked if I wanted the check and boxes, I said yes, but never came back. The other waiter asked if we needed help and helped us. Perhaps our main waiter was just having a bad day or something. My mind is open and I in no way blame Moo Moo's for this odd experience. Any time my kids and I walk in the get a shake to-go in past experiences, we are greeted by super happy workers and who I think is the manager. Very nice establishment... just that one time left a sour taste...

Absolutely horrible customer service. No regards for customers and all the employees who work there need to be retrained on their customer service skills. Their price is very high and their food is mediocre. Not worth your money and you will be disappointed with their service and their food. Grilled ham and cheese sandwich tasted like it was old and tasteless. Not worth the money and many other wonderful burger and amazing restaurants where your money is worth the food and the customer service that you are given. Will never order again from here. The food was good, the waitress we had was great. I didnt get her name but shes the one who memorized all 5 of our orders. We thought that was impressive. The restaurant was clean and the tables were unique with menus laid out like playing cards. Only downfall I can say is the smell from next door carried over into the restaurant. It had a little bit of nail salon smell to it, it doesnt really mix well when you are trying to eat good food. I understand it's not your guy's fault either but still a good burger...
