Let me start off by saying that Chili's main restaurant does a fantastic job with their food and service. Their to-go service is horrible. Last evening we called in to ask if we could get a catered size salad without Romain lettuce due to a family member allergy. They promptly agreed to only use Iceberg and we placed our order for pickup. I arrived and stood for 10minutes until someone acknowledged me. As I stood in their to-go I could see 4-5 workers just standing talking and laughing beging the bar area. Got the food and went home only to find out that half the order was missing. Went back to the store (Altoona, P.A.) and they shrugged it off saying their is only one person who puts orders together. We asked to speak with a manager but they were busy at the moment and I had a family sitting at the dinner table with only half their food. The last FOUR, yes four visits that we ordered catered takeout meals resulted the exact same. They either forgot half the items or completely got the order wrong. Keep in mind we have also tried the online ordering(three of those times) with the same results. I have patiently waited and chalked the experience up to someone having a rough day or them being very busy. We do enjoy their food and keep hoping for a better outcome. This chilli's to go ordering nightmare has been ongoing over the span of 2-3 yrs. Doubtful it was the same person/employee combo. Nonetheless, got home and my family all sat down to the catered size salad(along with other food items) only to find out that it was made with the Romain lettuce. I was not going back for fear they would have to take me out in handcuffs. 50+dollar meal down the tube and the meal was requested for a family members...
Read moreIf you’re going for the burger 3 for me deal, go to Perkins instead. They know how to cook a burger properly. I happen to like the chips and salsa at Chili’s, and the potato soup, so I’ve been getting the ten dollar burger deal that comes with the appetizer. The first time I asked for no pickles and got extra pickles, and the burger was so overcooked that it was inedible. Second time I asked for it to be “a little less than well done” and it was so raw on the inside that it was again, inedible. The first time they messed up, I called and spoke to a manager and was promised a refund; the second time when I called I opted for the ecoupon as I never received the refund a month later; and a month after that I still hadn’t received the ecoupon, so I called again and spoke to a different manager. This time I did receive an ecoupon for $50, so I was happy and ordered meals that left me $11 on my coupon. Went today to try the burger one more time with the rest of my coupon, but surprisingly the coupon rang up as a zero total even though I hadn’t used it all. Against my better judgment, I went ahead and paid for it anyways, only to get home and find myself with yet again a burger that was not cooked a little pink as I had ordered, but well done. When I eat a burger, I want one that is juicy and delicious; and chili’s has never been able to deliver that. So disappointing, I will no longer be going to chili’s as it is a...
Read moreMessed up one order at our table. I ordered a coke zero the other two ordered diet. The drinks come they sit all three at the end of the table. I said which is which she looks and goes this one is yours I think. Well it wasn't it was diet I think they were all diet. We all ordered fajitas 2 were supposed to be trio and one should have only been chicken and steak. All came out as trio with shrimp. The person that didn't order trio doesn't like shrimp. Told the waitress. She told us to split the shrimp between the two of us that ordered shrimp. She also said it was a kitchen mistake and she didn't send it to the kitchen as a trio. Bill comes, 92 dollars for three fajitas and three sodas. Crazy. Well when you ask if you want chips and salsa most Mexican style restaurants that's free. Not at Chili's that was like 7 dollars. The whole experience was terrible. Will not be returning to...
