Papa Luigi Pizza — Restaurant in Logan Township

The staff was great, friendly and helpful. Maybe they just need a little more training. Before ordering, I asked the girl if their fries were plain or dipped in batter, or batter coated and she said "no, they are regular fries" I got to the car with all my food and opened the fries to eat a few and boom! They were not plain fries. They are coated with some nasty seasoning. The stuffed cheesesteak pizza I ordered did not come with marinara sauce. I thought that was a given, they didn't even ask. It was dry and the pepperoni that comes in it threw the taste off. Maybe I have been spoiled by fairmount pizza. Picasso's is the only place that has fries not covered in whatever that is that wendy's recently did to their fries also. Nasty just like burger king's fries. The way to improve here is to ask more questions of the customer when ordering and let them know of stuff like; i.e. it doesn't come with sauce. That would have made the difference. I mean you think pizza, by default it comes with sauce. I will not be going back because I doubt it that they will change their fries and I get fries with all my orders no matter what I order. This review is solely based on pizza as it is the only thing we ordered. Mine was the chicken and broccoli alfredo. It was excellent. My husband had a cheese steak pizza and he said it was only okay but feels the issue was that lettuce wilts in heat, so they use too much cheese to create a buffer. With less cheese and no lettuce he would have liked it better. He'd try a different slice but certainly still go back. Mine was excellent, so I'd still give it an A+ for pizza and I'd certainly come back again. Is it particularly fancy? No. Lighting could be better. Usually a good place to get pizza. I asked them to write Happy Birthday on the inside of the pizza box for my boss but it never happened even though they assured me it wouldn't be a problem. I'm disappointed that this small request wasn't fulfilled especially since we talked about it in detail for the better part of our conversation. This was being sent to my boss since I couldn't be there today. So it's not something I could have done myself. I'm a huge supporter of shopping small to support our local business owners but only if they support us too. Definitely let down. With all the other eateries around, I will go somewhere...
