The Village Pub - Swedesboro — Restaurant in Logan Township

Came here today for Mothers Day with my mom while there was a break at Dream Park’s horse show. When we arrived there was roughly 10-12 tables sat, maybe 6-10 at the bar and with over 10 tables clean and ready to be seated. Which we were immediately, great. I say all this to say, it was not busy at all.

Our waitress never bothered to stop by to even drop water for nearly 20 minutes, if not longer. When she did finally come over we placed our complete order, 2 alcohol drinks (both off the menu drinks) and food. Although we did have water at this point, our food came out before our drinks came. The drinks were horrible. I ordered the blueberry/lemon/vodka drink and it was like drinking straight lemon juice. My mom ordered a margarita that came in a soda glass, completely separated, with no alcohol in it. We ordered new, different drinks. This time a glass of wine and a vodka/sprite. This took an additional 15 minutes, which ended in ME going to the bar and asking the manager why this is taking so long. It wasn’t until this time our waitress said anything about “being behind.” Which I could normally understand, especially on Mothers Day, except…they weren’t busy. The only thing I will say is the manager compted our drinks. And, very insincerely, said sorry. As far as just over all things noted, they have a very clear dress code for their customers. But apparently this doesn’t apply to the manager, because he was literally wearing a Jersey tank top (which is clearly stated men can not wear tanks first rule). The food was mediocre and very comparable to the Applebees in the same parking lot. Prices are about the same too, and Applebees drinks are usually pretty good. 🤷🏼‍♀️ We spend a decent amount of time at Dream Park during the summer and it would have been nice to have found a place that has vegetarian options. Disrespectful security "woman" guard

If you are a young woman you will be mistreated!!!

Had the worst experience of my life. This big girl that was a security guard got all up on my face and made me super uncomfortable. I was giving my Dad a plate of food at the bar then on my way back to my table in the restaurant area. Security lady yelled at me, she may have been intoxicated. I am a sixteen year old little blonde girl. She screamed at me and tried to intimidate me( very very unprofessional) She yelled at me " YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE IN THE BAR AREA GO BACK TO YOUR TABLE AND SIT DOWN". As an anxiety sufferer, she really triggered me back to all my years of abuse I faced in middle school. This woman was beyond disrespectful. My father tried to talk to her and the owner kicked us out. I sat down at the table and they still kicked us out. This is an overpriced abuse tolerant restaurant. This ugly woman needs to learn respect, from the moment she spoke to me she was disgusting and nasty.She did not respect my personal space and made me feel very violated and uncomfortable.If you are reading this please be warned. This review is for the Washington township location. Went with 6 other people on a week night. The place was almost completely empty yet we waiting for our server for 20 minutes. She was terrible.. Took forever to get our food, and when we did there was no sauce on our wings. When we received the check after asking for it 10 minutes before, we were charged for extra sauce, charged full price for the drinks that were on special, and were given attitude when we brought it to the servers attention. Waited so long for the server to come back after the check was fixed we went to the bar to pay, where she finally showed up and was very rude. The bartender apologized and even came over to our table to apologize again and assured us the manager would be over. We waited and waited and the manager never came, and at this point we had been there for over 2 hours and just wanted to get out. I sent an email the next day instead of a public review, as most of this could have been avoided with a different server. Management clearly does not care because I never heard back.
