Here I am editing again... I will bump this place back up! They brought in someone who has the drink making under control. Things are moving more smoothly then before.
I am editing my original review ......This Starbucks has been open for several months and the learning curve period should be over. I dropped it from 4 stars to 3 but really would like it to be 2.5 stars. The baristas are still very friendly but are not efficient in their jobs. I feel that they were not properly trained. Often the counters in the back are covered in dishes and various things they are trying to wash, prep, or put away. The service is slow. If there is another person in line in front of you do not attempt to get a coffee unless you have an extra 30 minutes to burn. I sometimes order pastries from Starbucks. Almost every time I have ordered something from this location they hand it to me still wrapped in cellophane. Technically, I don't mind this, at least it is fresh. Actually, the last piece of pumpkin bread I ordered from here was stale and was not in the wrapper. I also was denied my favorite Mocha Mint Latte, as they told me it was seasonal. It isn't. Maybe at some locations it is. I order it all the time and it has never been seasonal and I still get it from this location as well. I really feel that someone from Starbucks corporate should be assigned to this location for a few weeks to get them properly trained and organized. I do not believe it is really the staff not being able to handle their jobs, I just think they are under staffed in employees who have a handle on the system
The baristas are friendly in this new Starbucks location. They are in a new store in an existing ACME grocery store that is also going under a current remodel. So there are a few kinks but the friendly staff makes up for that...give it a week or two and all will probably smooth out. My latte's have been spot on. They open at 6 am which is perfect for me and now the grocery store is also open at 6...
Read moreThe employees are great! The service is very good. The only reason I have not rated this location five stars is honestly because of Acme, not the Starbucks or the employees. The employees are actually Acme employees. In their (Acme) attempt to keep hours at a minimum they don't normally have enough people to service the amount of clientele coming through. So many times they will have only two people on staff, and while one is behind the counter struggling to keep up with demand, the other is doing whatever jobs they're assigned to at the time, be it inventory, cleaning, Etc. Or as I have witnessed many times, the manager and or head employee for lack of a better way of putting it, has to stop what they are doing to assist the lone employee attempting to handle the line. But the employees really are great, they're polite, efficient, courteous, and when they are not too busy they give you Pleasant conversation all while not missing a Beat. Three people at a time behind the counter would be best, but Acme is a corporate structure after all and their main concern will always be the...
Read moreI come to this Starbucks usually once a week because it’s the closest Starbucks in the area. I usually go on my way to work so I have to factor in an ADDITIONAL 15 minutes due to their slow service. When I was in line today I was just questioning why I even keep going back here.. there was one girl making all of the drinks and then someone on the register. The line was really backed up and I waited over 25 minutes. But what got me was when there was no one else in line, the person on the register was just standing there watching her make all the drinks and wasn’t helping at all!! If it’s that busy and backed up why aren’t all the employees full hands in full hands out?? The drinks are always good here. This Starbucks’ biggest issue is their lack of staffing which makes their customers very unhappy with the...
