Los Molcajetes — Restaurant in Logan

Unbelievably terrible experience. First off, the food was absolutely sub par. The ceviche was overly fishy (even for seafood), the birria tacos were a sad excuse for tacos with zero flavor and zero effort, and the extremely overpriced molcajetes was dog food and salsa warmed up in a bowl. Who could possibly think this is good Mexican food? Absolutely horrible. Next, the service was pretty bad, not only for my party but the parties around us, slow water refills, slow drink refills, I was brought the wrong beer MULTIPLE times. No chips and salsa refills.

But here is the real disgust. The bathroom situation. They literally have a sign on the door saying to not flush the toilet paper! They want you to throw your nasty defecate ridden paper into the trash can sitting next to the toilet. Utterly disgusting. What country are we living in?! It gets worse. The faucet in the wash basin BARELY has any pressure, it just drips water and the SOAP was completely out. They want you to wipe your butt, throw the paper into a trash can with everyone else’s and they don’t even have the ability to wash your hands. Which also means their EMPLOYEES are experiences this same lack of sanitation! Disgusting. And SHAMEFUL.

Overpriced, horrible service and borderline illegal...

We will come again. This has potential to become my favorite Mexican restaurant in the valley. Loved the mixed molcajete. Definitely the best molcajete I've had in Utah. Delicious food and an actual molcajete with the sauce still simmering minutes after receiving it. My wife and I split the "single". We bought extra tortillas to enjoy with our leftovers. We got the Jamaica (Hibiscus drink) and the pineapple drink and both were very good. Chips, salsa, and the tortillas were amazing. Let's keep this place around! Great atmosphere. This restaurant deserves high praise! From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Every single employee we encountered greeted us with a genuine smile and seemed to enjoy their work, creating a great atmosphere.

The food was really good. Our waitress was particularly helpful, guiding us through some unfamiliar menu items, including the cactus. I was surprised to find it was sweet and went great with the Chicken Milanese.

The outstanding service truly sets this restaurant apart. I rarely write reviews, but the staff and their kindness compelled me to share my experience.
