USU surplus is a government surplus organization operated by a few persons working for Utah State University. There things are gathered which are surplus to the needs of the University. For a period of time things can be claimed by authorized personnel, and at a later date as notated on their sales tags, they may be purchased by civilian visitors. Some strange things show up, some prices are very high while others are ridiculously low. It can be interesting to search and find treasures that at some time have become someone else's trash. In purchasing from there you help the University and are helped in turn yourself. You can have up to 3 days to collect the item, possibly needful to provide transportation to remove it.
