I've come here several times to the bar to eat and drink. No problem when using my passport. Yesterday I decided I use my ID that was brand new ( I had lost my previous one and had it replaced, but still same photo since 19). The Heavy Set Bartender (I believe her name is Sydney) has been known to be rude and have bad service always rolling her eyes and always having an attitude. I've always tried being patient and polite every time I come here never had to speak to a manager (let alone an incompetent one) until yesterday. When I had walked in the Heavy set bartender looked at me as if annoyed she was going to have serve someone else. She comes over and asks for my ID. I then hand it to her and she looks at it and at me, but it looked more like she was trying to look see if it was fake. She then leaves and a few moments later comes her manager (I believe his name is Blake) and says an ID is questionable the 2 people I was with that night say she didn't ask them for their IDs. I already knew he was asking me about mine so I hand it to him and then he asks me for my DOB clearly in shock I say 95. no 2.24.95. 2.24.1995 because I wasn't quiet sure how he wanted me to state it. He then says (while SLURRING and smelling of strong mouthwash) you kind of stumbled there. So he leaves and says something to her. When she comes she says "Ima have to ask you to move, I don't feel comfortable serving you." She continues to say I don't look like how I do in my ID NOTE I had gotten that picture taken when I was 19. The only thing different was my hair color and that in the picture I had a tan. I have used that ID (same picture) to go in to bars, clubs, and places and never had it questioned whether it was me or not. Obviously already annoyed I go and talk to the manager and while I'm talking to him he is obviously sluggish and slurring the entire time and basically was telling me he can't trust his own judgement because he was clearly on something so he had to trust hers. I told him how she didn't ask my friends about their IDs and he says he is going to have to have a talk with her about that. I kept talking to him and he literally says no doubt that it was me, but because I stumbled on my words and because she didn't think it was me and she was so sure he had to have her back. I try showing him the school ID so he can see my name and comparison, but he raises his hands up like he is done having this conversation. I then leave to get my passport. I bring it back to him and let him compare my ID and passport. He then tries to make excuses for his incompetence and says " I don't want to be that D*ck" . (very professional). Doesn't offer me anything to make up for the trouble they put me through. He then lets me in and the bartender makes a face. She comes over and doesn't even apologize takes my order and then turns around and rolls her eyes at me. To top it all I get COLD chicken. Get charged the full price. And see another guy walk in who she doesn't ask for their ID either. Because I am hispanic it isn't ok to assume a clearly LEGIT ID is not mine. And ridiculous to have to even pull out my other one to prove I am who I am. I have never felt so DISCRMINATED. I will not be coming back here, I can't trust the manager to even be competent enough to handle a situation like this or do anything to make up for bad service, let alone listen to what is wrong. No wonder this place has bad reviews. It isn't what it used to be. If this is the service they...
Read moreWe got there at 430pm. There were only 4 other occupied tables. We waited 3 minutes to be seated. Ok, I thought they aren't fully staffed for dinner yet. We were seated and waited 5 minutes for the waitress to take our drink order and another 5 minutes to get the actual drinks. When we ordered my son asked for chicken tenders. The waitress informed us they "couldn't bread the tenders at this time and could only offer grilled tenders". What kid wants grilled tenders??? Trying to be patient we ordered the grilled tenders. 35 minutes later our food came out. At this time the waitress had refilled my son and husband's drink. I didn't think too much about it since I had half a cup. My all American cheeseburger started off great. Halfway thru, it tasted like the cook had dumped all the seasoning right in the center. It was soooo salty. I finished off my drink trying to wash the burger down. I then had to drink half of my husband's drink. The waitress finally came by and we asked for a refill of my drink. The waitress said sure then turned to the newly seated table of 8 people and took their food order and went to put it in the computer. I still had no drink so my husband went to the bar and got me another soda. After drinking the majority of it down the waitress came back with my refill. I am always patient with wait staff because my job involves providing care for patients and I know what it's like to get busy, but at 1 point I saw our waitress at her computer station on her phone while I was choking down my salty burger and trying to get her attention for the refill. I understand we weren't the only ones there but this really was the worse experience at this restaurant and I am going to very leary...
Read moreHaven't been here at this location for awhile.....and I remember why now
Well this place use to be amazing. Walked in we were one of the first few here. I asked if we could be sat in front of one of the tvs that had the golf game on. She said well I'll sit u in front of a TV and change it. I sat down order with my whole family, I got 10 of the traditional. I asked when she had a sec could she please turn it on as 10 minutes had passed she said yes. As 15 minutes passed I asked if she could please change it to the golf channel. She said yes. As our food came out I had received boneless wings instead of traditional. At that point I was mad. Not only has it been 25 minutes and the TV they set me in front so I could watch the golf channel had not been changed to the golf channel but now my orders wrong. She went and got me new wings and they were crispy beyond belief and after all this still the TV wasn't changed I wouldn't have been so mad if there wasn't an actual match happening with the big leaders of golf playing and they said they couldnt accomidate me. But wrong order and 3 times to say please change the channel.and they never did. This place use to be spot on. Waitress seemed to have no idea what was going on. Will not be back at this location. Especially during an actual game of any sort. I rarely leave such negative comments but this...
