The young black girl shift leader is ignorant & stupid. For God's sake she has red hair in a ponytail that obviously not hers. I'm a regular & she just lost my business l. Joshua should be the shift leader, he has more smarts & more sense than she will ever have. I called in & got 2 sandwiches made, an Italian sub & a philly cheesesteak. I called it in because I had to pick up my toddler an hour earlier. When I arrived, she was trying to charge me $5 for extra meat & $1.75 for extra cheese. I couldn't wait to or afford to have her remake it, but instead of letting me leave with the sandwiches, she was going to charge me or throw mine away. She doesn't have good business concepts, you would rather waste company goods & throw the sandwich in the trash & try to make another one & make me wait another 35 min when I didn't have the time. I order every week spending a nice amount of money with this Jersey Mike's, but because of this young ignorant red weave wearing 17 year old shift leader, who doesn't understand customer retention, I'll never go there while she is there. I'm also going to post her & this Jersey Mike's location on my 100,000 friends website. She is not shift leader or management material. She was cursing, yelling & acted just like my toddler. I had already waited an hour & she wanted me to wait another hour with 6 people in front of me. I had open heart surgery & I told her I couldn't stand there another 35 min. She was rude, inconsiderate & highly unprofessional. She shouldn't be representing Jersey Mike's at all if you want to keep your customers. She will do it again & she her business sense is way off. I would have let the customer have the sandwich , let them pay & figure out a way that it doesn't happen next time, instead of telling the customer she throwing it away & then making them wait another 35 min. That little 17 year old black girl, is not qualified to be a shift leader. The owners should watch the...
Read moreI've been going to this Jersey Mike's for a long time and they have good food and "usually" good service but... Today my wife and I stopped for sandwiches and upon walking in, noticed the male had his mask completely down and the female under her nose, while actively making sandwiches and working over the exposed toppings. I politely asked if, before working on my food, they would there masks up. He shot me a surprised/dirty look then pulled it part way up. I explained that I'm not being disrespectful but I have had health issues including pulmonary and the doctors said I can eat out but food peeps need to be observing Covid protocol. I'm not usually one to bother anyone else, in a store or wherever, I'll wear mine where appropriate and that's fine EXCEPT someone directly making my food. After the second time I asked, the male gave me grief for stepping 6" over his "line" (still not complying with my request). I apologized and said "no problem, was unintended, I'll cooperate with you and you cooperate with me. The third time I asked, they weren't complying, my wife didn't want grief and we decided to leave, food cooking on the flat top... We just left. That was amazing to me that, even after explaining my situation and repeated requests, they still didn't give a rat's ass. The thing that really concerns me is that we've had food delivered from them and almost did so today. After this experience, I'll not be ordering anything from them, at all, until I know the owner has fixed this serious...
Read moreThe food is always great, but the atmosphere and customer service need an overhaul. Nobody ever greets guests, and there's never any kind of enthusiasm. I understand it's work, but at least act like you're not completely miserable. There's no music on, so the employees being so quiet makes it awkward for anyone else in the place to talk. Tonight is the first time I've seen people eating inside, as the chairs are always on the tables regardlessof the time of day. I walked in and said hello and was stared at by a young lady with long braids. Then she started putting on gloves and working on a ticket without asking what I needed. When I excused myself and said I was there for a pickup that was waiting on the counter, she looked at me again, grabbed my chips, and then wordlessly handed me my bag. I thanked her and still, no words came from her. Not a single employee there tonight spoke the entire 5 minutes I was in the store. You did need to pump some life...
