Sorrentino's — Restaurant in Loma Linda

The two women behind the counter are very helpful. They always have a smile & good recommendations. I am very picky about my pizza, especially since I have had the best pizza from all over Italy. I know my pizza. Their pizza & and calzone specialties are always excellent. Get it extra well done because their dough runs a little thick (there dough thickness runs between a hand-toss vs. thick crust). But I would not recommend other stuff like salads or sandwiches. They are good, but nothing special, just basic homemade salad & sandwiches, if you are in a hurry or don't have the strength to make a sandwiche or salad at home, then get it.

Definitely one the best, if not THE best pizza in the Redlands/Loma Linda/San Bernardino area!! The pizza isn't even the only thing that's great though! The salads are so good with plenty of toppings and a spectacular Italian dressing that I eat over my usual beloved ranch (don't judge, ranch is amazing for those of us who love it!). We haven't tried the sandwiches yet, despite eating here multiple times, but anyone you mention Sorrentino's to asks if you tried them so they must be good! Everyone who works there has been super nice as well, whether it's a slow 3pm on a Tuesday that we go in to order or 6pm on a busy Saturday and we call in an order. The prices are really good as well, particularly for the quality of the pizzas. I would gladly pay $70 or more for the two pizzas and a huge salad we usually order, but we pay $50. Went here the other day and the food was terrible, we ate maybe half the food because we were so hungry and didn’t bother taking the rest home for later. There were only two people working and we were the only ones in the restaurant at the time. We were given expired chips to go with our sandwich and the food was extremely bland and the sauce was sour from using poor quality ingredients. We ordered the Vegitarian meatball sub and stuffed shells. I definitely don’t recommend this place. The building was run down and dirty.
