I really want to like this place but i was very disappointed. We got the 1. Chicken chargah: it was dry bland overcooked fried chicken. They didn't cut it up which is fine but didn't give us a knife to cut it. 2. We got the chicken karahai expecting a traditional Pakistani chicken karahai, but we got a curry that was i think originally mutton curry with very dry chicken pieces in it. We could taste the earthiness of the mutton. This was disappointing because what if we didn't eat red meat. 3. We got the paneer masala that was decent. 4. The garlic naan were fine 5. The rice was weird and chewy probably day old microwaved. The biggest problem was it took FOREVER TO GET even water. Tap water. We had called in for the chargah 25 minutes before we even got there but we waited for 45 minutes. The owner was kinda rude to the staff and I personally didn't like that too. The decor is cute but I don't think they run the air conditioning, so it felt like you are actually in a forest with the humidity. The bathroom is not clean at all.

We enjoyed this place pretty well. The food was tasty, but it wasn't amazing. We wanted it to be spicier than it was, and they couldn't really make it spicier for us which was a bit of a bummer. We were hoping they could add some spicy sauce, or some additional spices to the masalas that we ordered, but they couldn't which was a bummer. But the food itself was pretty good. We ordered the chicken tiki masala which was chicken breast, which is always a little bit drier than thighs, but it was pretty good as well. Just not as spicy as we would've liked. The garlic naan was fantastic though! No notes on that. Absolutely fantastic. It's not a problem, but they didn't have a liquor license, so I couldn't order a beer which I would have liked to do. Overall, probably 3/5 experience. Very approachable, and possibly a perfect place for people that don't like a lot of spice in their food. And the wait staff was all kinds of friendly and accommodating. No notes there either. They seemed like genuinely caring and welcoming people.

Sorry, I took a video of the restaurant to show the ambience, not realizing I can only upload pictures! The service we received was very friendly. It is clearly a family-owned restaurant. The food was fresh and came out hot! Made to order! I really appreciated the warmth of the atmosphere. The restaurant walls were decorated with vines and hanging mugs and other things. The color scheme was natural, with green, browns and tan. There was a television screen showing different cultures street food. There was a little swinging door with an open top that exposed the kitchen area. It was 2 of us and we ordered 1 appetizer, 2 meals, 1 rice, and 2 chai teas. I threw away my receipt, my bad. The total was $46. That is so fair in these trying times! I really appreciate how affordable it is. It was really yummy and I’d want to go back. So much flavor! We got a palak paneer, a chicken dish, and the samosa chaat. Bomb. It was homemade, healthy, and yummy. The pic attached is the samosa chaat.

Stepping into Masala Indo-Pak in Loma Linda, California, isn't just a culinary journey; it's a heartwarming embrace by generations of love woven into every dish. The moment you arrive, the vibrant tapestry of spices mingles with the calming whispers of a hidden oasis. Lush greenery surrounds you, and birdsong becomes the background music to a symphony of flavor about to unfold.

But the true magic lies in the kitchen, a haven where age-old recipes, passed down through family lines, simmer with passion. Here, you won't find processed shortcuts or artificial enhancers. Every morsel is a testament to the art of scratch cooking, crafted with the same care and dedication as it was centuries ago.

And then there are the curries. Oh, the curries! The Karahi dishes are explosions of bold, fiery flavors, each spoonful transporting you to bustling street markets where the aroma of freshly ground spices hangs heavy in the air. Whether you indulge in the succulent chicken or the melt-in-your-mouth lamb, be prepared for a taste bud awakening like no other.

But if you seek a comforting warmth, the Chicken Tikka Masala awaits. This isn't your average, run-of-the-mill rendition. Here, the masala sings with a chorus of fragrant tomatoes, aromatic herbs, and just the right touch of cream, creating a velvety hug for your palate. Each bite is a love letter to tradition, a reminder that happiness often lies in the simplest, most heartfelt flavors.

And let's not forget the pulao, the crown jewel of any Indian feast. At Masala Indo-Pak, it's elevated to an art form. Fluffy, fragrant rice, each grain infused with the essence of slow-cooked perfection, becomes the perfect canvas for the vibrant curries. It's a testament to the dedication and skill that goes into every dish, a true labor of love.

But Masala Indo-Pak is more than just delicious food. It's a celebration of heritage, a community hub where kindness and a love for food are the guiding principles. The staff, descendants of the recipe creators, radiate warmth and genuine care, ensuring your experience is as nourishing for the soul as it is for the body.

As you leave, the lingering aroma of spices and the memory of laughter shared over steaming plates stay with you long after the last bite. You know you haven't just had a meal; you've experienced a piece of history, a taste of love, and a moment of pure, unadulterated happiness. So, if you're looking for an escape from the ordinary, a culinary adventure that touches your heart as much as your taste buds, Masala Indo-Pak awaits. Come, discover the magic...

I have lived in New York and San Francisco for about 4 years now. Indian food for me is like Americanized version in most of the places (its like you go to Cabo and you think it is Mexican culture experience). When I moved to this part of the town I went to eat their food. This is the only place I have been to that cooks authentic Indian and Pakistani Dishes fresh. The first dish I had there was biryani and to be honest it reminded me the biryani of my home town. The taste took me right back to my home town, which is thousands of miles away. It was the best biryani I had in the last 4 years. I eat here very often and their speciality is their Nihari, you have to get their Nihari. I have tried shami kebab, Bihari kebab and seekh kebab. In desert I have tried halwa (semolina), which took me right back to my city street halwa. The freshness and presentation of food sounds like some one from your family who really cares about you is serving you the meal, like you visited your family after a long time. The owner is extremely respectful and friendly at the same time. He many times gave me suggestions, offered me samples of his favorite food for free. He made me tried pickles which he self made. Everything is made by his family who honestly care about people who are going to be eating there food. Chefs are not just other workers who come to do their job and leave. They care about how people like their food. I have seen people from all ethnicity there. All of them love the owner and that's why keep coming back. He cares about everyone and makes the experience of dining even better. This place is very clean, food is fresh, parking is easily available and ambience is like your home. Do visit them once and I am sure who will keep...

It was my first time eating from here and when I first order from a place I like to get a bunch of stuff to get a feel for what I like.

Palak paneer - 3/5 It was blander than others I've tasted. Usually my favorite dish but not from here.

Chicken tikka masala - 5/5 It's delicious. Different than straight up Indian places but no less tasty.

Garlic naan - 5/5 Probably the best naan I've ever tasted. It's fluffy on the inside, yet slightly crispy on the outside. Definitely get some!

Chai tea - 2/5 It wasn't sweet at all like I was expecting. I thought it was a sweetened version, but it's just a normal tea. If you like bland teas then go for it, but I didn't like it.

Lamb shank - Can't rate I got this specifically for my wife. She loves lamb shank and I don't. I had a bit and it was bland to me. Had a sauce that was extremely hot she said.

All in all I liked half of what I wanted to eat. Definitely disappointed in the chai and palak panner, but I'm not going to rate a restaurant's overall rating down because I didn't like their interpretation. The food is reasonably priced and it looks and tastes like they use good ingredients. Plus it's family owned by the looks of it and they put a lot of work into the place. I highly recommend and will be back to get more chicken tikka masala and garlic...
